“HOT Potato Chips!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

A friend and I stopped by Graham’s for lunch…it was late (15 mins before lunch ended) and we still experienced excellent service, hot fresh food, and a very attentive waitperson. How Fabulous! I had Graham’s version of a Rueben and my friend had soup and salad. First of all, the Rueben was very good; with dill pickle spears in the sandwich and made with marble-rye bread and hot fresh potato chips (wow-yes, hot and fresh potato chips). The Caesar dressing was delicious (“This is what Caesar dressing is supposed to taste like!") and the Corn-Crab-Bacon Chowder was hot, rich and creamy with lots of flavor. Out for a quick or slow lunch…we highly recommend Graham’s Grille.

“A Great Find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

After arriving in Taos via the long, scenic drive from Santa Fe and after having a wonderful, delicious, and very filling late lunch at Rancho de Chimayo on our way, we were not too hungry. We walked into Taos from our lovely B&B, Casa de las Chimeneas, not knowing where to go for something to eat. We came upon Graham's Grille and decided to try it out. We were delighted by the experience, so delighted that we ate there both of our two nights in Taos. On the first night, we sat outside to watch the sunset on their back patio. We had their very delicious and hearty crab, bacon, and corn chowder, and a glass of wine which was a meal in itself. We can't imagine that one could order and eat all that was in the bowl and then order dinner. On the second night we ate inside and had a delicious dinner. We found the wait staff friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself was very warm and inviting. We highly recommend this place when visiting Taos.

“Homemade Corn Beef Hash is hard to find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

My wife met a colleague for lunch one day; had a wonderful meal. She noticed on the menu that their breakfasts featured many delicious sounding items, but the homemade corned beef hash jumped off the page at her. It is our favorite breakfast, and seldom to be found. Most restaurants take it out of can and heat it up -- not Graham's Grille! It was perfectly prepared and served in a bowl topped by two eggs of your personal preparation choice. Great flavors blended by the chef. Our waitperson was congenial and was prompt to take care of any need. Their coffee was also outstanding. The decor was comfortable, rich and restful on the eyes. Our leftovers provided a second meal, dinner, late the same day. Wow!

Yeah!! I love it when our customers notice and appreciate the little details like "homemade" corn beef hash. My mother always made homemade corn beef hash when we were kids and that is the only way we knew hash, not in a can. Thank you for your visits and thank you for your positive review for others. We look forward to seeing you again.

“Good Food, Poor Atmosphere”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Food here is always OK, never great, but always edible. The layout of the tables turns me off totally, the long banquet with diners place virtually on top of each other is maybe OK for lunch, but never a quiet dinner. Prices on the high side for the quality of food served. Better restaurants to be found in Taos.

“Wonderful Meal!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

We unsuspectingly wondered into Graham's Grill on a chilly Weds evening and before we left, we had had the best meal of a 2 week New Mexico trip that was designed to spare no expense flitting around Santa Fe's food shrines.

The G Green Chile Relleno went far beyond the normal cliche.... fresh everything and they refrained from drowning a beautiful Hatch chile in an angry sea of cheese. We then shared a beautiful beet salad special that we both agreed to be the best we have ever found. As gorgeous as it looked, it tasted better. Gorgeous beets, a vinaigrette that seemed to be a red beet reduction, and a mound of diced yellow & red beets that just sang with a citrus dressing that complimented the local chevre. We savored every bite. We then had the Green Chile Cioppino which was outrageous! How they managed to get seafood this fresh at the foot of the Rocky Mts is a complete mystery but we couldn't have eaten cleaner fish in San Francisco and the smoked green chile broth was genius. With no effort we found a nice bottle of wine as the list was savvy. The Chat St Jean Fume Blanc worked wonderfully with the beets and cioppino. Our sever was cheerfully efficient and happily split our salad and dinner.

Our evening here was a treat in every way. Graham's Grill is the kind of bistro we wish were in our neighborhood. ........ I'd get a meal plan!
