Our lodging host suggested Antonio’s for dinner during our summer visit to Taos. The restaurant’s outside patio is a pleasant place to dine or wait for an inside table. The relaxed inside dining area with southwestern colors is suitable for individual diners, couples and larger groups. The “Touch of Mexico” menu has a number of creative appetizers, a good selection of traditional New Mexican and Mexican main dishes and desserts. After serving our drinks, the waiter was helpful in describing menu items. From the traditional New Mexican choices, my wife had the huevos rancheros and I had the green chile chicken enchilada plate. Both lived up to our high expectations. Prices are reasonably mid-range. We look forward to chiles rellenos for our next dinner at Antonio’s.
