Description: Doc Martin's Restaurant is an acclaimed fine dining establishment located in a registered historic landmark. A Taos tradition for locals and visitors alike, the warm ambiance of the main latilla room in Doc's has been a gathering place since the Taos Society of Artist's first met here in the 1920's and 30's. Headed by Executive Chef Gary “Zippy” White, our menu is a presentation of New American and Northern New Mexican cuisine, specializing in fresh organic foods from the Southwest. Known for its incredible value and extensive breadth of selections from old to new world, our wine list has earned Wine Spectator's "Best Of" Award of Excellence for twenty-one consecutive years. Pastry Chef Gayle Glanz creates sumptuous “beyond belief” desserts nightly that tantalize the senses and send our customers away with sweet memories.

“Great drinks & bartender”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

Popped into the bar area between lunch & dinner so didn't try any of the food. The margaritas were as delicious as others have said! There was free music which was a nice bonus. The bartender, Doan, was very attentive and fun to chat with.

“Amazing chili rellenos!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

We ate here based on a recommendation from the host of the Cottonwood Inn. She said this place had the best green chili cheeseburger and chili rellenos of anywhere in New Mexico. Well, I don't know about the rest of the state, but this was certainly the best meal we had in Taos. So good, in fact, that we went back two more times.

Not only is the food great, but the atmosphere in their bar is very entertaining. We really enjoyed having a glass of wine and earwigging on the open mike night.

Don't miss this place if you come to Taos.

“Great ambience...Poor value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

This is an old doctors office, not a shoe outlet. I love the traditional rooms and the wait staff were excellent. Ate there twice and the Huevos Rancheros were very good. Dinner was so so and expensive.

“Just what the doctor ordered”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2013

Great drinks at the Adobe Bar made my entertaining bartenders - a friendly place. But don't go just for the drinks -here's a secret you have to keep- duck confit quesadillas. My god they are out of this world!!! Don't tell anyone, but go.
