We had a well executed, but not overly creative dinner at Lambert's. Service was very good and our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. I did really enjoy my appetizer of pâté en croute with port aspic, cornichon and grilled bread and my wife enjoyed her grilled radicchio and bibb lettuce with artichoke hearts and red onion with danish blue cheese vinaigrette. Nice combination.
For an entree I had the glazed Roasted Duck with apricot chipotle sauce, with tempura vegetable nori roll and wasabi mousse. It was well cooked and solid, but was not bowled over. My wife had the entree portion of steamed mussels in a tomato herb broth. Again, good, but not outstanding.
