“Bridge was great, water level not so much.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

As a photographer, I was envisioning something grande with the river, gorge and bridge. When we first stopped it wasn't amazing at all. The water level was such a disappointment. I was able to get some great images, but I guess I had high expectations.

“Amazing view from the bridge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

This bridge is definitely work the time to visit. You can walk the bridge to get a view of the gorge and get some great pictures of the gorge as well as the bridge.

“BEAUTIFUL HIKE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

We hiked about 4 miles out and then back on the gorge, leaving from the rest area on the highway. Trails are easy to follow and the view is pretty (at least on the gorge side). It's all very flat so no elevation at all to speak of. EASY HIKE. You may very well see tarantulas on this hike so be aware -- they are big (in my opinion) but won't bother you. I am told they are more common in the summer months. We went at the end of Sept and saw one which thrilled my husband to no end. I could have done without it!

“A mini Grand Canyon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012 via mobile

This is definitely worth the 15 minute drive from Taos. Bring your camera. If you are afraid of heights, just don't look down!

“Nice view, easy walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

There was a nice view of the Gorge from the very accessible bridge. Safe walk, and not too dizzying.
