“Homey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

Great breakfast burrito! My wife got it with green chile sauce and complained there wasn't enough. I got red on mine, and it was just right. Good red chile sauce. They said they remodeled inside & out, but all we noticed was new adobe on the outside; the inside still looks the same as it always has. If you're going for a breakfast burrito, Michaels Kitchen is just a little bit better.

“Ma and Pa Restuarant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014

First night in Taos, and not knowing where to eat, we decide to try the Taoseno, people talk about it often, Upon entering, so used to be seated, we were asked to seat ourselves, Felt like the olden days. next our waitress took our order, and as the evening arrived, we notice a lot of local people came in. Everybody new each other. Party meal was in the back room, "todo familia". When our food arrived, it was very good, and we were served large portions, which was good, to take back to our room. Thanks for the wonderful service and food,

“New Mexican Food Nirvana in Taos”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

Recommended by my wives cousin who lives near here, we hit here after a long drive through Northern New Mexico. Tired and hungry, we stopped here for dinner. The parking lot was full at 4:30 in the afternoon, a good sign. I had the combo plate (tamale, taco, enchilada, red chilie, rice and beans. My wife had the Navaho Taco (so papilla covered in beans, meat, lettuce, cheese and of course, red chilie! Wow. I could move here just for this restaurant alone.

The service was great and the food better. The chilie was alive and hot. Everything else was fantastic. The place is a local one with no theme or pretense for ambiance, just a great place to eat. Prices are very reasonable, especially for this area at the height of tourist season.

“Westward !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2014

The Motel that we were staying told us about this restaurant. We were in the mood for Mexican and were told this was the place. And I do agree it was nice and the (locals) meet here.We both had burrito's and they were good. The server was a very pleasant young lady and was very attentive .As I paid I also bought a coffee mug with the restaurant logo on it. We did have lunch there a couple of days later. This is a FAMILY OWNED RESTAURANT !
