This reminded of the places I used to stay with parents when I was a kid in the 1950s and early 1960s. And, even though it had that old time feel, it was clear that modernizations and renovations had been done throughout the hotel. I checked in late, so didn't get a chance to peruse the grounds or other parts of the facility, but everything appeared to be neat and tidy. My room was clean and comfortable, with an easily located thermostat, good lighting and water pressure in the bathroom and comfortable bed and pillows. The Internet worked fine (even though the front desk manager had told me they were having some problems with it) but I didn't try the TV. There were electrical outlets conveniently located on TOP of the desk (always a plus in my book), but I had to move the night table and unplug the clock in order to recharge my iPhone. The complementary continental breakfast was standard fare and nothing to write home about (although the service was friendly and she kept the coffee flowing). My one complaint with the Pueblo Lodge was a vague sour-sewer like smell near the front of my room, but it was not noticeable on the inside.
