“Rich Person's Jewelry...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Why is a rich oil baron's jewelry important? The new barons are in Santa Fe buying it still. Not worth the visit.

“unique and well work the visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

if you like old Indian blankets, pots, baskets and unbelievable collection of jewelry you will love this place. We did! Located outside Taos in a great adobe home, this is a highlight for us!

“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We drove down a dirt road for what seemed like a long time, and we were beginning to think we had made a mistake in trying to find this museum. We finally found it, and we thoroughly enjoyed looking at the artifacts that Millicent Rogers had collected. We love turquoise jewelry, Native American pottery, rugs, and baskets; this museum fills the bill. We enjoyed touring the Anderson House where Millicent Rogers' Museum is located as well. “Cute little museum with fabulous jewelry!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

We have come to Taos for years and finally visited this museum for the first time several years ago. It is small, but I love the exhibit of her jewelry, particularly the turquoise. There are lots of silver pieces as well. The rest of the museum has Native Americam pots and blankets and is quite interesting. The gift shop is fabulous and we usually buy something there. We liked the museum so much we became members. The recent show with the miniature paintings was worth seeing!
