“Great time at Taos Pueblo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

We spent a couple hours here walking around. It was very interesting. Everyone was very nice and pleasant. I enjoyed walking in the stores to see the inside of the Pueblos plus all the items for sale.

“Too commercialized...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

I was looking forward to Taos Pueblo. We found that we could not get into the actual pueblo homes, and the area was filled with people trying to sell their goods. Not exactly what I was expecting for a World Heritage Site. You also have to pay $6 on top of admission to take a camera in. Bathrooms were filthy and scary.

“American history we easily forget”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012 via mobile

Truly a step back 1,000 years of American Indian history. Yes it costs for entrance and photos but a small price to maintain this treasure. It became ever more beautiful after reviewing the wonderful photos with the mountains and clouds above. Talking to the Shop owners was enlightening as how life is today. Almost passed on visiting, so glad we went

“A must see tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

Well preserved historic site. You can take a 20 min. tour guided by young people well versed on their culture and history of Taos Pueblo. Once done you can leisurely walk around, take pictures only if you pay the $6 camera permit, and shop at several places within the pueblo. No cons.

“A real gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

We took a city tour and the site was included in the price. We are from Canada and this was a real experience into peublo life. Our guide at the site was Jessie and you could tell that he was very proud of his heritage. It was wonderful to hear the stories of his poeple and the red willow tribe. This was a real hightlight on our trip to Taos and one we will never forget.
