“Good Tex-Mex style food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

The Tex-Mex was great, the chicken sandwich was so-so. The non-smokers are now relegated to the side room. Good Tex-Mex for a good price.

“Locals eat here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2012

This restaurant is next door to the Econo Lodge where I stayed. They offer a discount for folks staying at the Motel by showing your room key. This is a very "homey" kind of restaurant with a nice atmosphere to just relax and have a nice dinner. They have a pretty good menu and the food seemed to be very good and well prepared. Kills me that you can get "Seafood" in a restaurant in Socorro, but since I live on the coast I didn't try that.

“A regular spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2012

We eat at ElCam all the time, living in Socorro and all. The food is very good and service is solid and quick. Our, speaking for myself and a few friends, favorite dishes are the green chile fries (of course), the Navajo taco, Victoria Station burger and avocado salad. The wait staff is friendly and prompt. They offer a discount to the local college students. My only complaints are the slow Internet access and bathroom conditions.

ElCam is one of my favorites and I eat out a fair bit.

“Great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2012 via mobile

Tasty food and great service, good value! Char-grilled trout was delicious and only $10.99! One hair in the ranch dressing-not so good... No military discount-really sad!!! Chicken fried steak was really good! Overall the experience was great and the meal was very filling. Definitely going back!

“Good family restaurant, nothing special, no complaints”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012

If you want a basic family restaurant and diner, this is your place. It can get a little greasy, but overall is not too bad. I have gone here several times and not been disappointed. I especially like the fun 1960s decor that has been well-maintained.
