Must be one of the better Motel 6's in the country - basic, clean, great value, newer. Good service, too.

The Motel 6 in Santa Rosa, NM was a nice place to stayover on a long road trip. It was a little on the small side but very clean and quiet. What really stood out was the shower. My husband thought I was crazy for taking a picture of it but now I am glad that I did!

One Motel 6 is pretty much like another, the difference being made by the staff. When I attempted to check in at this Motel 6, I stood in the lobby for ten minutes while three staff members argued about how to operate the motel computer...it was reminiscent of scene in Stanley Kubrick's film 2001 where the baboons discovering the monolith. After being ignored for ten minutes I left and stayed in Tucumcari. If you have to stay in Santa Rosa I recommend the Hilltop father west down old US66--cleaner, more attractive, cheaper, and staffed by intelligent life.
