“Tourist trap, keep going.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

Their trick is that the gas pump "can't" read your card, forcing you inside past the over priced tourist made in china "southwestern" doodads. They are unapologetic about the ploy. There were two restrooms and both were closed for cleaning AT THE SAME TIME. The gas prices were not good. Keep on driving and don't look back.

“had tacos good and great place they have everything you need for roadtrip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

great food, good price, fast service, staff could of been friendly and not dressed like slobs, it seems three pregnant girls with their teeshirts stretched over bellys, maybe some change of uniform for them would of help. food was good that place has everything you need for a road trip.

“Great oasis.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2011

While driving for a long time with no towns in sight, we were delighted to come across Russell's. There's a cafe and mini grocery store inside. There are lots of good Rte 66 souvenirs inside, too. AND, there is a car museum inside!!! My kids keep talking about that car museum. It was so unexpected....and nicer than many we've paid to visit across the country. The workers are nice there. It's clean. Can't say enough about this oasis in the middle of nowhere. A real gem.

“Near Glenrio and Tucumcari”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2011 via mobile

Russell's is so much more than a truck stop. It has gas but also has a car museum and a great little restaurant. Service was wonderful and food awesome. They even have a little chapel that has a little service on Sunday mornings. Will stop here every time!
