Quiet, little place with warm and cozy accommodations.. We loved it and would recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable yet awesome accommodations . We loved the bed ( very comfortable ) the fireplace added a nice touch. We had great service all the way around...love.d the ski package and the hot tub was so nice and clean.

An excellent place to stay for a weekend! We came to Ruidoso for a snowboarding trip and were very pleased with everything. We felt like we were in a home and not a hotel. Loved the cabins! They had a great fireplace to snuggle by after a day on the slopes. A great kitchenette, nice comfy bed, a great big shower... The list goes on.

Not only was the stay great but the staff is awesome. They recommended some good places to eat and some places to check out while in town. The housekeeping also did a great job keeping our cabin clean and tidy throughout the weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Shadow Mountain Lodge in Ruidoso this past week. The cabin was immaculate and had everything we could have wanted....kitchenette; fireplace and comfy couch and bed! The owners were so nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone going to Ruidoso. The location is convenient to town, but out enough to be in the "woods". We had 9 deer visit our front yard the first morning we were there - excellent way to wake up. Thanks Shadow Mountain Lodge for a wonderful start to 2013 !

We stayed during the Christmas holiday. Everything was wonderfully fabulous. The lodge room was clean from top to bottom. It would pass the white glove test. Owners were wonderful, room was decorated for Christmas as were the grounds. Housekeepers were very friendly. We could not have asked for better lodging. Exceptional.
