“A very Great choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

I stay in 15 hotels a month. hampto n wass first choice until now in this area. Room was as good or better, Staff excellent, Better parking...... I pickup and deliver from the West coast to Texas and it is hard when driving to find a safe, nice and reasonable place that has parking when arriving after 8pm. They had some food out on arrival. Room Tip: Hotel is just off the main road so any room should be quiet.

Had to stay one night for business, very helpful front desk personnel. Bed/bath linens are clean and room thermostat works very well! Only thing I wish was more choices at breakfast, it was mediocre.
When reserving a room- if you like it quiet, stay away from the rooms near the elevator towards the front. You can hear people's conversations coming from the front covered porch area.

Property is just a year old and everything is nice and new. The staff are very, very friendly and accommodating. Comfortable and not on the main street yet walking distance to several places. I especially liked the patio area, comfortable and quiet.

My family and I (2 elementary-aged kids & wife) stopped here overnight during our New Mexico and Colorado vacation. The front desk staff was fantastic. Quick, cheery and very helpful check-in. The hotel is only about a year old and looks great.

The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Linens were plentiful and the shower worked well.

The only minor disappointment was breakfast: the only hot option were those waffles. Nothing else. Probably what they offer at this level of hotel across the Marriott line, but still a bit disappointing.

We'll definitely stay here again if we pass through those parts again.

While being on a round-trip through the southwestern part of the United States we decided to extend our stay in Roswell for another night and were looking for another hotel to stay. One criteria was that the place had to had an outdoor pool which limited the options. We chose the TownePlace Suites Roswell and were not disappointed.

All of the front desk staff is fantastic. They were cheering, helpful, friendly and most courteous from the reservation over the check-in until check-out.. Two thumbs up!!! Checked in around noon and immediately got our room keys. The suite itself was ok from the size but nicely designed, bright and very clean. It had a fully equipped kitchen including dish washer and microwave, a desk, a very comfy bed and a modern and bright bathroom. It was really quiet in the room all the time.

The outside pool had chairs, towels and even umbrellas for some shade at 100 Degrees Fahrenheit. There´s also a business center with printer and a fitness center. There is also a BBQ for guest use!

Breakfast options were a bit limited as there were not hot options available. Besides from that they had everything you´re used to when having breakfast in an hotel.

We liked the hotel a lot and would definetely consider returning there if we were again in the area.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the rear parking do not have the sun shining into the rooms which keeps them a bit cool...

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed! I wish we had been able to stay longer! The hotel was spotless and the best part was howv friendly and genuine the staff was. At check in they offered to help us with our luggage and helped us take our stuff all the way up to our rooms.

We checked in mid-week after a 10-hour drive. The first thing that hit us was someone else's trash and hair behind the bathroom doors. It appeared that the area behind the doors had not been mopped for a very long time. There was also fruit loops under the air conditioning unit in the living room and trash on the floor in the bedroom. If that wasn't enough, there were bobby pins and safety pins in the bedroom nightstand drawer. I was worried what else was not clean. I went down to the front desk to complain and was told the room would be fully cleaned the next morning (there is no housekeeping staff at night). I stuffed a couple of tissues in the sheets in the morning before we left. When we got back that evening, the bathrooms had not been cleaned and the sheets had not been changed. None of the bath or kitchen essentials had been restocked and the floors had not been vacuumed. The front desk person offered to come clean the room but she was the only employee there so I declined. She noted in the computer to have the room fully cleaned. The next day the sheets were changed but the floors were still in the same condition. That evening the general manager cleaned the bathrooms herself. She gave us a $70 credit on our $550 stay. All I can say is yuck. I will never stay in this hotel again.
