Came into Roswell on Easter Sunday March 27, 2005. Plenty of hotels in town...we chose the Hampton and we were glad we did. New hotel...indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna, exercise room, always open kitchen with apples and bananas and boxes of cereal and beverages. Free buffet breakfast mornings with scrambled eggs, sausage, fruits, various breads, beverages. Everyone at the hotel was nice. There's a room near the check in desk with two computers...use them for free if you don't have a laptop. Also TV internet in the room but there's a charge to use it. I phoned the desk clerk to ask her how to connect to it and she said not to use that since there's a charge...that I should come down to the free service on the first floor. Darn nice of her to tell me that. There's a little "store" right next to the check in desk with a fridge ... for sale in it are Stouffers dinners and Hot Pockets, individual pizzas and various other frozen foods to be heated up in the microwave in the room. Milk, sodas, ice cream, candy bars, sundries like razors, vaseline, etc., for sale, too.
And the location is great...it's on the main street in town. I have never been happier at any hotel...we stayed two nights. Because this hotel was so great I joined their frequent guest plan. Standard room was about $94.00 a night plus tax.
