“Great Hilton value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

I was coming in from the north passing through Albuquerque and was tired. Decided to stay in the first nice place I found. Checked in on the Internet. Hotel was great. Manager was really good guy. Seemed genuinely interested. Hilton beds, as always, sleep great. Not too expensive, great stay

Had a nice stay. The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. The elevator playing when exiting was a nice touch. Grabbed a few drinks in the lounge that was made well. The waitress was very nice. The area is very close to shopping as well, centrally located with ease to I-25. Price was good as well. Interstate noise can be annoying and will wake you.

Room Tip: Chose a room in front, otherwise the roar of the interstate will be bothersome a good nights sleep.

I was driving thru New Mexico on my way back to California and decided to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Albuquerque North / Rio Rancho. I've stayed at a lot of Hilton Garden Inn hotels but this one was by far the cleanest. Kudos to the housekeeping crew for doing an outstanding job of not only keeping the common areas, but the room was in impeccible condition. I was greeted by the friendly staff and was quickly checked into my room. Once in the room, I was first impressed by the the cleanliness, but I was also pleased that as a Hilton Honors member, I received free high-speed internet. It was very easy to access, which isn't the case in many hotels. The room had a good general appeal, with free Breathe Right strips, chocolates (old school) and newer, trendy hygiene products. The only reason I did not give this hotel a 4 is because many Hilton Garden Inn hotels are generic and are in a desperate need of upgrades to the common areas and furniture to be more aesthetically pleasing. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and if you appreciate a good, clean, and friendly hotel...stay here.

This is a business traveler's paradise and WOULD be 5 stars -- they've got good rates, good breakfast, clean rooms, and are amazingly convenient to Intel right across the street. But they desperately need to do something to upgrade their internet service. Typically business travelers are alone and rely on at least decent service for Skype or to work into the evening. But their service is seriously bad enough to bring them down by 2 stars, to the extent that on multiple occasions I've actually had to leave the hotel and go find wifi elsewhere to get anything done.

I continue to come here, but I hope that one day I arrive to an upgraded connection.

I had a truly wonderful experience at the Hilton Garden Inn. I was greeted by the manager in such a pleasant way that I was really taken aback. He even took the time to tell me of local eateries that are non-commercial and made me a map from the hotel to the office where I was going to be working at. He obviously makes it a point to get to know his guests and why they are visiting because he made the connection between my peer that had just left and my arrival - made me feel important :). Truly incredible staff - every day I was greeted with a warm friendly smile and a hello. Every night on my way up I'd receive another greeting and was happy to enjoy fresh baked cookies and tea. It was an extreme pleasure to stay there.

Excellent staff...friendly, helpful & cheerful. Clean rooms, friendliest housekeeping staff i've ever experienced. All staff was superiour. Hotel was quiet & comfortable. Restaurant offered a great breakfast buffet/cooked items...eggs benedict were excellent!
Would have liked pay-per-view movie option in room for something relaxing to do but not the end of the world.
Left feeling refreshed & ready for the next adventure in life :)
