Love the food and service. I especially love their Scottish Eggs! The fish and chips are to die for.

“More than just a Pub!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

I love the variety on this menu-from steamed mussels to fried pickles to the best fish and chips ever to fantastic steaks and Irish stew! Haven't had a bad meal here and they have a variety of single malt Scotches, extensive beer and wine selection. Perhaps one of my gavorite 'go-to' restaurants in Rio Rancho due to the variety on the menu (from sensible to the other end of the scale).

“First off, it's a pub..”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

and a pub built out of an old mechanic's station, so don't look for glamor. It's very clean and the food is great, it's bustling and fun and a great place to watch the Game with some pals, and make friends. Kids do good here, too. The food's been consistently good, and I often go there on Friday's for the prime rib, worth it.

“Eaten here since 12/08...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

.... and almost exclusively for the Fish n Chips per the batter of my youth whereby a shoppe in New England only had to be open 1 day a week cuz it was soooo good. Indeed, during the year ownership has changed, and possibly some staff, but the owner has a well rated 'italian' like venture in another part of town, Nicky V's. I.e. doesn't make sense things would be "downhill".

My FnC as late as Sept. was up to par, albeit they've changed from hand-sliced 'fries with skins' to some wimpy-limpy ones which I've been badgering about. Granted the price of a one planker is up a dollar this year, but that's just been after 5 years!!! (Not out of line if you google an inflation calculator!!! If ya be a dainty lady, I recommend your first FnC be a one planker because it is quite generous and then add another if need be so the batter stays crispy, unless of course if you're a 'Big Fella' go for the 3.

Since the switchover, they've obtained a hard liquor license which ain't cheap in NM, in addition to their array of tap/bottle brewskis. Staff wise, I've always felt well served for being "a pub" as some might say. Am looking forward to future visits.

“Fun place with good food and beer!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013 via mobile

We really enjoyed the fun atmosphere! We had a large group, but also have been there as a family. The fish and chips are really good (big serving - two people can share). Beer selection is good and cold. The pubs has many TVs to watch sports.
