Atmosphere, friendly service, EXCELLENT steaks and burgers, fried okra (ummmm), great bar with live music. What else could you want?

“Very poor food quality”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

We were very disapointed with this place. I ordered the small sirloin and it was only about 1/2 inch thick. My wife ordered the pork chop and it was very dry and tasteless. She also ordered a baked potato and it was not fully cooked. They brought out another and it was not done either! They did not charge for the pork chop, but the whole experience was very poor.

“Not great for lunch.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

We stopped here on a scenic ride through the area during lunch. The menu for lunch was rather limited. One of us got a hamberger with a side salad. Both of them were just ok. The other had a chicken sandwich that was not good and he only ate half of it. We left hungry. The host we very pleasant, the building is very nice, old and historic. Our server acted like she wanted to kill someone and was glaring at everything and everyone but she did her job ok. The other servers that we seen seemed to be quite friendly. I think the dinner menu might be more up their ally and the menu seemed more tailored for that. For lunch at least....I would go elsewhere.

“One of those places you have to visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

When in Red River, Texas Reds is one of those places you have to visit. Food is fine, peanut shells on the floor, live music. Its just that place you have to visit when you're in town.
