I think this could have been an amazing stay BUT we happened to get a room with no heater it was 49* in the room, there were stains on our sheets and comforter and it took forever for maintainance to show up and there was major miscommunication with the front desk. To fix the problems they moved us to a smaller room with an even smaller discount by then it was 2 am. Other than that everything else was nice... I would like to say it was just a bad day/timing but have not tried them again since then.

If you love the smell of cigarette smoke, then this is the place for you. The smoke is overwhelming in the lobby and common areas. Gross!
I have never in my whole life stood on a checkin line at a hotel as long as the one I stood on here. It took an hour to checkin. There were some other minor customer service issues, but I didn't encounter blatant rudeness such as others described.
The room itself was very nice and the view was beautiful. I think we must have had a renovated room based on previous reviews. Our room did not smell like smoke.

We enjoyed so very much our two night stay at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. The scenery from our patio was just beautiful. Treated very good by the employees. It was indeed a very pleasant visit. Very highly recommended. The bed was very comfortable. Can't wait to go again.

The Inn of The Mountain Gods was totally rebuilt. As it was a beautiful place before it is stunning now. The rooms are resort quality and the views are amazing. Service is always friendly and the on grounds recreation is the best. In the hotel there is a Full casino, nice size indoor swimming pool, high end restraint, full buffet, 18 hole Golf Course, lake with a paddle boats and fishing, walking trails, and many other things to do. Extras they have are guided hunting and Skiing.

We have stayed at the Inn on many occasions and never been disappointed. The rooms are very large and comfortably equipped with just about anything you might desire. We always stay in Luxury rooms instead of Superior ones so we don't get a mini-frig, only a Mini- bar, which we never use. We stock up on booze, wine and soda before we arrive. The views of the lake and the mountains never tire. Walking the grounds in good weather, of which there is plenty, is always nice.
The casino leaves a lot to be desired. The slots are extremely tight, though with an excellent selection, and the VP schedules are jokes. The smoke is almost overwhelming----- nothing like modern casinos in Vegas. The poker room is small but the dealers are very adequate. All in all this is a nice place to visit.
Also, we have seen some older but great performers like Engelburt and Tony Orlando. The concert hall is not that great, but the acoustics surprisingly are.

Have received a promotion for 2 free nights and free play and an opportunity to receive a free cruise through Norwegian cruise lines. Have called vip services twice to book and no reply. They have a blackjack tournament the same weekend and probably have no rooms available.

For gamblers that are used to comped rooms and other comps you can forget this place!

Their hosts are the worst I have ever encountered. Won't even say hello if you see them

Even if you don't gamble you can do better. The rooms are pretty nice but they old old tube tv's with no hd. carpet has stains, beds are very good. food is pretty good overall, the gourmet restaurant is very good with good service.

After all the pluses and minuses the bottom line is if you are not a gambler this might be the place for you, if are don't expect much from casino. Did not use the spa so my rating is just average because I had to rate it.

Room Tip: other places better unless you want to look at a pretty lake, you have to book a superior room to ge...
