“Super friendly staff, clean comfy beds, and nice breakfast. ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

All the staff was super friendly! At night they had out nachos with jalapenos and cookies. The kids loved it! Our room was clean but need some little detail cleaning. The shower needed some work. It was missing the bar and shower head needed to be soaked in vinegar to remove hard water build up. The beds were so comfy! Breakfast was also good. They had an assorted variety of Danish, muffins, bagels, yogurt, eggs, sausage, cereal, and drinks. I was sad there were no waffles on this morning but over all a great place to stay.

Room was clean good continental breakfast in the am. Town seems to be falling apart. drove around and lots of buildings are shuttered. spoke to local and was informed that only retiree's and students live here. Location is just off freeway. Easy to find.

I found the staff very approachable, and the room, while a bit run down, was clean and the bed comfortable. It was in a quiet area, the breakfast was decent, and the snacks were appreciated. For the moderate cost, the stay was perfectly acceptable, and I would stay there again!

Thank you Ernie K for appreciating and sharing our efforts to provide a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay for all our guests! But the next time you stay with us I am hoping you will be using much stronger adjectives of praise in your reviews for the improvements and training that we are going through and will be beginning to make our hotel an exceptional one!

This "Choice" hotel needs a visit from corporate. A cookie cutter mold is placed on each franchise ( Quality Inn, Comfort Inn, etc.). This hotel has dropped the ball in maintenance and housekeeping. Constant upkeep is the name of the game to keep customers coming back no matter how nice and efficient the front desk is ,which they were. The hallway walls were severely scuffed, replastering wall holes were
needed, hot tub lacked proper working jets and a paint job was sorely needed. The room lacked the snap needed to avoid thinking you are in a used room(wrinkled drapes and bed cover, old dirty tv, open space where furniture once occupied).
The bathroom door scraped by the toilet. The biggest disappointment, the bed. When I sat on the bed I sunk so I Checked out the mattress.I discovered there was no mattress just a big hunk of foam! Not Memory foam mind you but industrial foam used for van couches and the like. My last stay at another Comfort Inn had the same soft bed.
I paid over a $100 and left unsatisfied . No more Comfort Inn and will start checking into Wyndahm properties .

This property was very close to I-25, but was on the edge of town, so a quiet area. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were very helpful. Appreciated that there were snacks out at night - nachos, fruit, and juices - as well as a good breakfast in the morning. I agree with other reviewers that the comforter was awesome. Not a new property, but well-maintained.

JLBD, we are happy to hear that you were able to find us so easily off exit 347 on I-25 we will be installing LED lighting inside and out soon so it will be even easier and brighter in our quite little nook of Las Vegas. The nachos are yummy and during the winter we mix it up with some warm soup to balance the low temperatures we can get here. But combine the warm smiles from our staff, yummy food, and the awesome comforters we are set for any weather and any traveler. We especially hope to see you again JLBD the next time you are traveling through.

We sought refuge here during a Christmas-time cross-country driving trip, when a localized but violent blizzard (the Las Vegas area is prone to these) prevented us from making it to our destination of Santa Fe. The front desk staff was courteous and sympathetic to the bedraggled and road-worn travelers who straggled in, and not just ourselves either. Accommodations were standard for a chain motor hotel located along (but in the boonies of) a major interstate highway, nothing special but entirely adequate, and quieter than we expected considering the proximity to the highway. All told, I wouldn't make a special trip to stay here, but if you're stressed by scary driving conditions and looking for a place, ANY place, to hole up for the night, this is a better place than most for the purpose.

We are grateful that we could be there for you amidst the wear and tear of winter travel. If you are looking for a special reason to stop here in Las Vegas we have many Festivals and Rallies going on in July and August. The town and surrounding areas explode in music, sports, colors, and culture and we are ecstatic and enthusiastic to see the many guests who come to share in the fun. For quieter reasons to come see us, soaking in the hot springs as snow is falling around you, experiencing the historical sights along Santa Fe Trail, and immersing in our quaint Carnegie Library... just to name a few.
