“Tasty breakfast with Vintage appeal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Pancake Alley does a great breakfast, very tasty and classic. Huge plate sized pancakes too. Fun to browse the collector items for sale. All the wonderful things about a diner are here, counter for a quick bite, booths, a window to look at the chefs at work in the kitchen. Just a little pricey.

“Breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

The food was pretty good. The only thing was the limited time open. The service was friendly and prompt. I would eat there again when I stay in the area.

“Quaint & fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

Good breakfast place and it's a fun old school diner. It is very clean as are the restrooms and well worth a stop.

“The smell of grease was a little overpowering”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

We stopped here for breakfast on route from Alamogordo, NM to Silver City, NM. We were towing a small trailer and had to park in the hotel parking lot next door. The three of us had a breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros, and simple fried eggs with hash brown. The food was decent, but the coffee had a distinct New Mexico water taste. The one thing that bothered me was the smell of old grease. The kind that sticks to your clothes. Maybe they were close to changing it out. We'd stop here again as the food was decent, the service was good, and the price was right.

“A Route 66 must see.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2012 via mobile

If you want to experience a Route 66 diner, this is the place to go. Just keep in mind that it is a diner, not a restaurant. The service is good and the food is greasy. Choose this place over IHOP or other breakfast chains if youre tired of the same old corporate scenery. The portions are big and the omletes are good. The quality is also consistant. It's not open past lunch, so go early. its in a dumpy part of town, but thats part of the charm.
