“A must see if you have children”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

This is something you need to take your children to they will really enjoy it. The live animals and old west adventure will tickle their imaginations. As an adult I still like going their from time to time.

“A gem of a museum, great for kids to view cattle and milking, great for adults to learn about the area and the changing art exh”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014 via mobile

A surprising museum, unlike any others you may have been to. Old farm and Ranch equipment, live cattle, inside native American displays, general store, wagons and art. Well worth a visit when you are in the area.

“Beatiful views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

This museum is actually fun to visit. It is about farming and agriculture. There is so much in terms of displays, exhibits, animals, and views. There are so many places to take gorgeous pictures because it is so rustic, full or character, and culture. It is fun for the whole family.

“Excellent View of Farming in New Mexico”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

My husband was born and raised in a farm in the Midwest, so this was a must see. We could have spent two days looking, reading and learning about farming in New Mexico. Be sure and see the video clip about "Slim" the saddle maker and all of the live stock. All of the animals are very friendly and many of them will follow you along the fence line. Our favorite was the "old" long horn steer. He is 24 and was so nice to pose for several pictures. There is a lot of farm machinery and lots or art! Plan to spend several hours here if you are I interested in the history of farming.

“A must see attraction. ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

If you're visiting Las Cruces, NM I highly recommend seeing this museum. It is a 47 acre interactive museum that showcases the 3000 year history of New Mexico's farming and ranching heritage. Indoor displays of archaeology, culture and art. Outdoor displays of orchards, farming equipment, and farm animals including the original Mexican Corriente cattle. The Museum is open every day. Only $5 for adults and $2 for children. Very accessible but lots of walking. We were fortunate to catch a ride on a cart with a volunteer to tour the "South 20" the outdoor farm and ranch part. He provided more information about the animals and facilities. Well worth the time to visit the Museum.
