“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

Great find. Small restaurant in a strip mall across he street from New Mexico State Univ. very unassuming place. We all had a gyro (pronounced year oh) which was full of flavor, the taziki sauce was served on the side so you can put on as much as you like. Service was great, we came in just after a large group had arrived but the manager came out to ensure we were served timely. Had an extra order of humus which was served with cucumbers, tomatoes and warm pita.

“Quality food, well prepared”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2012 via mobile

We have tried many restaurants on our extended visit to Las Cruces and this is the place we return to the most. A simple though comfortable environment, no liquor, but absolutely delicious food. The staff is especially pleasant and helpful as well. Highly recommended!

“Flavors bring back memories of a magical time long ago when I camped on the Greek isle of Ios”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2012 via mobile

Wow! Terrific gyros sandwiches at this simple little restaurant near the NMSU campus. I have been here a number of times since I moved to Las Cruces last summer and I have yet to be disappointed. The flavor of the flatbread used for the sandwiches brings back memories of buying souvlaki from whitewashed window vendors on the Greek islands. Come for the food because the atmosphere is underwhelming (although functional for a sandwhich shop).

“Outstanding Mediterranean Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2011

If you like Greek and Lebanese food you owe it to yourself to try Santorini. Every time we have eaten there we have left feeling stuffed and carrying a heaping box of leftovers.

I am especially fond of the Beef Kafta, sausage-shaped patties of ground beef seasoned with Lebanese spices. You can get the kafta either as a sandwich or a generous platter served with hummus, rice, a salad and a Lebanese pita. My second favorite is the Chicken Taouk, pieces of chicken marinated in lemon juice and Lebanese spices. Again, you can get this as either a sandwich or platter. If you are not a meat eater, there is quite a good selection of vegetarian meals available.

There is an array of appetizers available, including Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Dolmades, Spanakopita and Falafels. In keeping with the enormous serving sizes of the platters, the appetizers are equally large. Desserts include as you might expect Baklava, as well as Maghli a wonderfully spiced rice pudding topped with coconut and walnuts.

Finally, I would be remiss if I didn't tell you about the Dinner Special for Two. For the amazing price of $22 you and your partner have your choice of two soups or salads, two small appetizers, two Greek or Lebanese Pitas and two sides of rice. Finally, the main course is over one pound of your choice of any three meats off the menu. If you still have room after finishing this you can add two Baklava for and additional $2. The only catch to this deal is that they won't serve it to more than two, although there is enough food for twice that many.
