During the latest in a series of trips to visit my daughter in Las Cruces, I decided to try the Holiday Inn Express. The room was great: spacious, nicely furnished, and equipped with a fridge and microwave. Everything was new and spotlessly clean. The public areas, including the breakfast room, were equally nice, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The only downside was the limited breakfast options and lousy coffee. Overall, it proved to be a much nicer place to stay the neighboring Fairfield Inn, but not quite as good as the Hampton Inn across the highway.
