“Sands with no ocean.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2014

This like no other place I've been to! Run and jump down the large sand dunes! Don't forget to wear sunscreen and sunglasses!

“Neat Stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2014

This museum was a nice stop. If you're adding to a collection of historic and interesting sites in America, this is a good one. Like another reviewers said, this museum does not have the actual white sands to play in- as it is on an active military testing site. I wouldn't recommend driving to this place as a destination, but is is a nice stop and an interesting notch on your tour belt.

“Lots of fun sledding with no snow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

Was really interesting to find out how the sands are constantly moving and as you drive in you would think your in winter as the sand appears to be snow. Kids loved sliding around on saucer sleds. The missile park was also very interesting in seeing the evolution of our defenses.

“Relaxing Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

Thought it was really neat being able to check out some of our past defense's from the military and also learned a little about astronauts.

“Must see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

White Sands is a must see at least once in your life. There isn't a whole lot going on but the scenery is really neat. My young nephews loved sledding down the hills. Definitely worth the stop.
