Stopped for lunch and found a nice surprise on our arrival to the area. Featured wine was excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was fresh and well presented.

“Pleasant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

To be fair, we were in and out at this place, so did not get a great chance to sample the wines or the full menu.

They will offer a sample of the wine of the month when you are seated. The January offering was... different. Not the typical flavor profile, but certainly not altogether unpleasant.

However, the ambiance was great on the heated, enclosed patio. The food was fair, with ample portions. Emphasis on home-fare with a wine influence- a limited menu overall. I had the chicken marsala. Nothing to complain about, but not exceedingly memorable.

Live music was setting up as we were leaving on a Saturday night.

I will probably be back, if only because their product is fairly unique for Las Cruces.

“Tuna "melt" specialty was perfect for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

Went last Sunday after Church. At first, I was put off by the price on this entree - but it was worth it. Fresh ahi tuna, with green chili and provolone. As an added bonus when I selected the fruit side (asking for less melon) they were quick to accommodate with mostly pineapple and grapes..which was perfect for me. I love the decor and the service. We will go often.

A great place to enjoy wine. Partake in wine tasting and some good meals.
The Lescomb family came from Europe in the 1980's and after years of hard work they created an impire in New mexico.

“Wines of New Mexico”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

We tried this restaurant on the rare snowy night in Las Cruces / Mesilla. The ambience and interior was perfect for this winter night. Service was excellent, the food was excellent, and the local wine selections were excellent and very affordable. A Syrah was the featured wine and we bought a bottle at almost 50% off the menu price. We tried the crab cakes, spinach salad, flat iron steak, and tomato bisque....all were very good. If you enjoy wine and good food you will like St. Clair.
