“Horrible!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

I travel out of town for work every week and this is by FAR the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are run down and shabby. When I showered the ceiling was covered with mold and the bathtub had paint flecking off of it. The ventilation system gave me a sore throat upon waking every day. I was appalled by the odor in the hallways despite being mostly nonsmoking. I also attempted to relax in the hot tub, which was freezing cold. I would not recommend staying in this hotel and I will never stay here again.

This hotel is old, rundown, and quite dirty. My wife and I had an unexpected overnight in Farmington, NM. Road construction crews, mining crews, and business conferences had filled all the other hotels, so we had no other choice. This was the worst Red Lion I have ever stayed at. The bathroom wasn't very clean--grime, old hair, stains/splotches on the counters, etc. The sheets were a little questionable--yes, they were washed, but still had hair and some kind of dry dirt? The uptake vent for the air conditioner didn't have a filter. Even the elevator had not been vacuumed in a long time--debris and "crumbs" along the edges. The restaurant food was also disappointing--undercooked, wilty salads; not fresh and wholesome. The free breakfast was limited, and offered old and dry scrambled eggs! This hotel is a prime example of managerial neglect. Try to stay at the Courtyard by Marriot or the Hampton Inn. They're new.

Stayed here on our way from Zion National Park/Four Corners to Albuquerque. The employees at the property were very friendly and helpful, but they are operating at a disadvantage because the physical condition of the property leaves much to be desired. TV in our room was small and old, ceilings in hallway very low, pool area as well as the rest of the building needs a facelift. We had an executive suite which was very large but very dark as the window only overlooked the interior pool area. However, the price was very low and did include free breakfast. The breakfast had a good selection.

This Hotel had clean rooms, fantastic room service and was quiet. It is outdated and needs upgrades to the plumbing and TV. My room had a microwave and mini fridge. The staff were all friendly. I has a decent Prime Rib in the restaurant. All in all I would recommend this if you are looking for a place to stay the night.

We booked our stay through an online service and were privileged to stay here. Titus made check in awesome--we asked a question and he said "we can do that". He was courteous and despite my requests he worked with us. The rooms were expansive and top it off with a microwave and fridge our stay was simply phenomenal. Could it get better? YES!! They gave us a free breakfast voucher--not the most health conscious choices, however, it was free so who's about to complain? Tracy offered service during that time with a superb smile and outgoing hospitality. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay here again.

Room Tip: Any room you choose should be great--my aunt and uncle loved their room, my in-laws loved theirs, an...

very clean, friendly staff, best breakfast restaurant quality, we were able to have eggs cooked the way we liked them besides the breakfast buffet, and comfortable beds, nicest hotel in the 2 weeks we've been on the road.

If your looking for a value hotel then this will work for you. The rooms was clean and the sheets were fresh. Other then that no frills at all. We had a two queen room, which worked for our needs. The free breakfast is OK to get the day started, again if the price is right its good. I was going to go work out but the "GYM" a small universal machine and stair master but did not bother after I saw the option, went for a run instead which worked out OK. Dont not stay here, just dont pay to much or expect to much. In the end if you need a quick clean room and your out of there, then go for it. $85.00 max but that may be to much.

Room Tip: Stay away from the smoking floor you will get a bad headach if your a non smoker.
