We stayed one night at the Silver Adobe on our way up to Moab this summer. We stayed in the Cottonwood room. The hosts Diane and David were most welcoming and helpful.
Some reviews have mentioned lack of privacy in the Cottonwood room due to the bank of windows and the possibility of walking in from of them. We did not feel that was an issue at all.
The Inn i located behind the Farmington Firestation on the outskirts of Farmington down towards the river. We did not have any problems finding the inn - but having read the instructions and arriving in day light made it easier as well.
Most restaurants are not in walking distance, so you'll need your car when going to dinner.
They have pets (a dog - very sweet and gentle, and two cats) on the property - they are not allowed into the guest rooms, but into the common area / breakfast area. If you are allergic this might be an issue. I'm pretty allergic to cats and noticed nothing in our room, but during breakfast my nose started clogging up and running.
Breakfast was good and healthy. Coffee was great and breakfast conversation fun and interesting.
We will stay here again if we come back to Farmington.
