“Great Stay would stay here again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2009

This is a great well maintained hotel. THe rooms are clean and spacious. the breakfast is good and the service is superb. We stayed here for a week in 2008 and again this year. We based ourselves here because of family, day tripped daily to Colorado and the surrounding area. Close to Durango.

We stayed here one night after a long day of air travel and driving. We used Hilton points to cover the expense of the room - I guess because of the location, you didn't have to use many points to stay here - but it certainly was a nice place, even better than a lot of other Hamptons I have stayed at. Book ahead - the hotel was full the night we stayed and I understand they sell out routinely.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The morning buffet was better than most - lots of choices.

It's on a main road - nothing scenic - but convenient.

We asked the desk staff to recommend a nice Mexican restaurant. They sent us to a "chain" brand place that was pretty mediocre, so research restaurants ahead of time if you want a better dining experience.

If you're looking for a nice play to stay overnight, this is a good choice.

Absolutely impeccable hotel, spotlessly clean and sparkling, helpful staff, easy to find location, and snacks and a large hot breakfast included. We were offered fruit and cookies upon check-in. Oh, there is also a sparkling clean guest laundry.

I had been staying at the Marriot in Farmington but after my last stay at this Hampton the Marriot has lost a customer.

I was staying for several days and each day I returned to a cheery desk clerk offering cookies and a good evening. The room was spacious and included a nice flat panel TV.

I will be returning to this hotel each time I'm in Farmington.

Service at this hotel was exceptional. The manager was extremely helpful when I requested a later then late checkout.

I received a smile from every single employee, from the front desk staff to housekeeping.

The room was very spacious and had a very relaxing atmosphere; the plants although artificial are a great touch. I was surprised to receive a call after checking in to assure the room was to my satisfaction (which it was).

However, the greatest asset of this hotel is its’ manager and staff!

  • Liked — The exceptionally friendly staff and manager!
  • Disliked — No wireless internet access in rooms!

This hotel is by far the nicest in Farmington! It's just over a year old and everything still looks new...nice & clean. We were given a suite with two queen beds which worked out really nice considering we have two young children because the extra space made a nice play area. The room included a sofa with a bed, a chair and ottoman, nice coffee table and a wet bar with a microwave & refrigerator. The beds were super comfortable and the exterior noise was very minimal. Great complimentary breakfast with a good variety of hot and cold foods. And for those of you on the go, a convenient to-go breakfast bag with an apple, Nutri-Grain bar, muffin and water. Breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful as was the front desk clerk. Great stay overall!

  • Liked — Spacious, clean and comfortable room
  • Disliked — Curtains and windows...there was no sheer curtain to let light in but still cover the open window. It was either full heavy shade curtain or nothing but open window. We were on the 4th floor and the windows still opened for breeze...not a good thing when you have kids!

Stayed for 3 nights. No other room noise heard even though it was full. Large area, excellent beds (no backache or tossing all night!!!) Very clean. Will stay here again. Check out the 3 Rivers Eatery/Brewery downtown...
