Pulled into Red Lobster at 5:00 p.m. On Saturday night, Labor Day weekend. The restaurants in Farmington are always crowded and this one is no exception. We knew that and planned the early dinner hour. Our wait was about 15 minutes. Waitress was great. The first thing she asked was if we were celebrating a special occasion. Yes, my birthday. Her recommendation of the Long Island Iced Tea was the perfect choice. My order came a bit messed up from the kitchen, but was quickly rectified without taking my plate away. Red Lobster's have great seafood...I am a shrimp lover.....at a great price.
We ordered some kind of apple dessert wrapped in pie dough. We were disappointed in that it had very little apple and lots of dough.
At the end she remembered to wish me happy birthday again as we were ready to leave. Nope, they did not all come over and sing to me like they did the little kid a few tables over. (whew).
