“Our favorite place in Taos!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2014

When we go out to eat, we always think we should go somewhere else and end up here! There is a lovely outdoor waiting area, with a pinon fire in the winter and outside tables in the summer. This is the best New Mex Mex food you can find. The portions are huge and there isn't anything on the menu that isn't tasty! It is cozy and nicely furnished. If you sit at the counter, you can watch Patsy cook.

“Exceptional northern New Mexican food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

If you are in the Taos area be sure and visit Orlando's. The restaurant is in a wonderfully painted old house with a large statue of Don Pasquel over the bar. (The patron saint of the kitchen) We began with tri-colored chips and excellent guacamole. The shrimp and chili relleno was delicious with perfectly cooked and seasoned shrimp. The Frito pie was an unexpected find on the menu and we'll worth the discovery. Lots of free parking and an outdoor patio with a fire pit.

“Excellent chili relleno's”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

This small restaurant north of downtown in El Prado is excellent. The rellenos were outstanding. We were a group of 4 and tried several dishes, and all were excellent

“Best food in Taos area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014

If you're looking for great New Mexican food, decor, and service, come to Orlando's. We stopped for lunch and felt like the only tourists in a room of happy locals -- a great change from the fancier restaurant scene. The waitress was warm and professional, answering questions and making us feel right at home. The meal itself was delicious with (my favorite) great green chile sauce. If I lived here, this would be my go-to spot.

“Quick Service, Good Food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

I ate here in April 2014 with my wife and daughter. All the tables were taken when we arrived but we only had to wait less than five minutes. The prices were very reasonable. I ordered Carne Adovada and was happy with that. I also enjoyed the Santa Fe ale. For those who don't want New Mexican food they did have a very tasty burger and fries on the menu (my daughter had that). This is a very casual place with tasty New Mexican fare. Oh and they bring your food very quickly.
