“Good for Clovis, mediocre elsewhere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2012

The service is good, and so is the food! I suggest the brisket nachos or the green chili cheese fries.

“Great food, attentive waitresses, and love the atmosphere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2012

You have got to try the Firecrackers! If you like green chili, you will love these little bites of heaven! They batter and deep fry whole green chilies, then serve with a cheeze-y dip! Oh my gosh, yum! The burgers are amazing too! They offer fried okra as a side, love this, and the Baby Back Ribs are delish! Must try the hot BBQ sauce tho. WOW! The salads are huge and unique. I love the Greek Salad with feta dressing. Oh, and don't forget the brisket nachos!

This place is just what a home town restaurant should be. They even have a band on the first Thursday of the month. Good variety of draft beer to drink while you listen to the music. We love this place and go there frequently.

The waitress look so cute in their shorts and cowboy boots too.!

“Stay away”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2012

Terribly long wait for cold bad food. Waitress was attentive. Sent cold food back and got it back the same way. Steak fries are horrible cold. Beans decent, sausage OK, brisket fatty, bread cold. Ordered peach cobbler..out. Ordered hot cherry cobbler...cold. Had obviously been in frig and they don't know how to use a microwave. Cherries hard to find. Asked to talk to a manager and a senior waitress came over. Others left before being served the wait was so long. Didn't expect to take 1.5 hrs for a BBQ meal. No bill adjustment at all. Would give 0 stars if I could.

“Terrible BBQ”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2012

For being located so close to Texas you would think this place would have amazing BBQ as well. Well it doesnt. The sauces can't even make up for the overcooked, dry meat that is served overpriced here. I recommend you purchase your own meat and you could cook a better meal at home. Not worth going to.

“Store bought food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2011 via mobile

Me and my husband came here to try this bbq out and I love good bbq :) but this place was a disappointment. I got the two meat dishes, sausage, and brisket. The sausage tasted like store bought, and the brisket was so dry(if you cook it right it wouldn't be) the beans weren't cooked all the way. I could only say the best part of my meal was dippnguyen the toast in the bean sauce and the potato salad. My husband got the chicken and pulled pork. The chicken was good but the pulled pork was too dry and barely had bbq sauce on it. Before we got our order the waiter drop french fries on my husband but she apologized :) she was nice but the other waiter-he was so slow and lazy. Sadly this town seems like has no good-handmade-cooking foods.
