“very charming old church”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

This is the real mccoy - and old spanish chapel. There are several different chapels spread around the Santuary grounds and plans for explansion. It's a delightful stop if you are visiting the area..

“Glory for the faithful; only okay for the rest.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012

For those of faith, the miraculous nature of this hallowed ground is inspiring; for the rest of us, the site is interesting, but that's about it. If you are a student of Spanish-American Southwest construction, there's the excitement of its traditional nature. Again, though, in and of itself, it's crowded and rudimentary.

“Tom O”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

If you want to feel that you're going back in time, visit here. Oh yes, make sure you purchase some of the Chimayo red chile to take home with you to add some spice to your own home cooked food. This church is also a must for the photographers in all seasons. This is a religious sanctuary so dress appropriately if you decide to go inside.

“Healing space”

Stop here for a spiritual experience. See the miracles, say a prayer, touch the miracle dirt and come away inspired. Don't miss the "Santo Nino" chapel.
