“Lovely place to stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2011

Thank you - I had a very lovely stay. The peace and quiet of the Bed and Breakfast, and of the surrounding area, was exactly what I needed. The Santa Fe casita is just perfect, and has lovely New Mexico views. It is so nice to stay in a quiet place, without the need to go out and about, and having a kitchen was great for preparing dinner. And breakfast in the morning was delicious!

Located in a small historic New Mexico village outside of Santa Fe, this lovely B & B has a lot to offer if you wanpt to experience something special and artistic and bit off the beaten track. The accommodationes are charming and comfortable with tasteful furnishings and original paintings from local artisits. One of the rooms has views of the mountains. The innkeepers Jesse and Cindy are great! Especially enjoyed Sofia's visits (the cat). Good breakfasts served room service style. Can't recommend this place enough and would definitely return.

Thank you Jesse for making me feel at home. The place is charming and the room where I stayed was great! Breakfast was wonderful and you can't find a better place to see incredible sunsets or see the most amazing starlit sky! Even though Cerrillos itself doesn't have much to offer it is close to Madrid and Santa Fe and you can take great excursions around a beautiful landscape. Truly worth it!

We stopped here as a halfway point between Phoenix and Colorado Springs. The town of Cerrillos is a bit off the beaten path and ghost-townish, but the B&B was excellent. The casita we stayed in was well appointed and the breakfast we had the next morning was very tasty. We ate dinner five minutes down the road in Madrid.

We would definitely stay there again.

If you're like us and enjoy the true beauty and quiet that New Mexico has to offer, yet only 15-20 min drive to Santa Fe plaza, then you'll love this place! Adobe room is rustic, clean and adorable. The nicest most accommodating B&B owner you'll find! Stop by the old opera house which has been a recording studio since the 60s and has been host to acts like Janis Joplin! Stop in the antique shop a couple streets away and get an amazing history lesson of this once important little pueblo! Will be back to this B&B very soon!

Before you book this lodging, you should know something about the destination. Los Cerrillos a tiny historical town south of Santa Fe. It's the kind of place where dogs patrol its unpaved streets and coyotes howl at the moon from a nearby canyon. The main tourist attraction might be the petting zoo. By appearance, it was once a jumpin' hub that quit jumpin' decades ago. In other words...if you're looking for a place to get away from it all...Los Cerrillos should be high on your list.
The Cerrillos Hills Bed and Breakfast is a charming little property located at the far edge of town. Currently, they have two accommodations, one casita and the other a two room cottage adjoining the main house. Both are really nice and offer plenty of space with private patios. The decor is warm, tasteful, and beautifully comfortable.
The breakfast was wonderful...personally prepared and delivered by Jesse, the owner/innkeeper. Jesse, who I think looks like Mark Twain, is welcoming and eager to make his guests' stay enjoyable.
SO...If you're looking for a big bustling, touristy, hotel with casinos and lounges...this is not your place. HOWEVER, if you find yourself traveling along the Turquoise Trail of New Mexico, and feel the ancient beauty of this country pulling you in...then do yourself a favor. Stop in Los Cerrillos. Get out of the car and walk around. If you feel a tingle and realization that every step you take is a step into history...then by all means, check in to this bed and breakfast and let the rest of the world slip away for a few days. You are in for a real treat.
