Stayed two nights. It was your basic chain interstate motel, but in Belen there aren't too many choices. The pool was closed for repairs and looked like it had been for sometime. Still don't know where the advertized "spa" and putt-putt were located. The view in the back was not of the mountains as promoted, but of a parking lot with a construction trailer; and a RV park on a hill behind it. The room was simple. Apparently the current rage in the hotel industry of promoting their new beds has not caught-up to this location yet, although they were adequate.
Staff seemed indifferent.
The breakfast area was very large, clean and let in alot of natural light. The breakfast itself was high in sugar and fat (mostly sweets).
If you are traveling through, it is ok for a one night's stay, but two nights were enough.
If you are visiting the Pueblo ruins around the Mountainair area, you may want to consider staying there instead as we were pleasantly surprised with that town; and the people seemed alot friendlier than in Belen.
