4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

Just stayed at this hotel this past weekend.
It was a great hotel.
Lifeguards at pool were very tough and indoor pool was closed.
The have mini golf and shuffle board that kept the kids entertained.
A section with a slide and two swings that was great but old and needs to be fixed up.
Deff. a great family stay

Room Tip: Lanai rooms

I spent a weekend here. The hotel rooms were fine and seemed like typical Hilton-level rooms. The benefits of this hotel are (1) plenty of amenities- pool, spa, pretty good gym, walking/running trail, tennis courts, multiple restaurants and (2) very gracious employees, who were very personable and really seemed genuinely caring and nice.

The Concierge Lounge is "officially" closed on weekends but you can get access if needed; just non-alcoholic drinks, though.

Room Tip: I didn't get an upgraded room as a Diamond but I didn't ask- maybe that's the trick?

I had the opportunity to stay at WCR during midsummer with my family it was an awesome experience the front desk staff was very accommodation to all the request. I originally booked for a 1night stay and ended up extended for an additional 2nights..Check in was seamless very friendly agents I remember the front office manager when out of his way for the next 3 days to make our stay memorable Mr Brian Landy...There were many more that made my stay special but i really forgot the names one in particular was a female agent that was assisting a new trainee ..Also hats off the the driver that took us to the local stores for some light shopping..(that was indeed a great touch)...
I have recommended this property to many of my friends and colleagues and actually I will be returning this weekend for another 2 nights...What can i say WCR has spoiled me its a home away from home..

Keep up the good work this time I'm sure to take notes of the names of the agents that assisted me

Oh yeah
Greg at the outdoor pool was amazing on service
So too the gentleman that makes the breakfast

P.s (I would like to discuss about quality food service with management if someone can contact me would be greatly appreciated)

Room Tip: Suites are the first to go here so if you really need a suite book in advance.. I was not able to up...

We stayed here for one night as the recommended hotel for a family wedding (that was held elsewhere). The rooms themselves are very nice and were clean (and on their own would rate a 4). The bottled water and mini fridge as well as the Hilton shampoos, etc. are very nice.

The hotel is set up with several LONG corridors (think spider) joined to more long corridors, and only one elevator (which seemed old and not updated compared to the rest of the hotel) in the hub (none at the end of the corridor), so be sure you ask for a room near the elevator if walking is an issue.

They had three or more wedding parties staying there the weekend we stayed, so there was quite a bit of hustle and bustle, which is fine, but there seemed to be a little rustling behind the desk about getting our rooms, which wound up not being near each other (I had reserved two together). This in the long run was not a big issue since we did not want the senior in our party to walk as far as we had to for the king room. It was also strange that our room keys were in standard envelopes (I guess they ran out of folios).

One last thing; we had wings (quite good) and a drink in the bar before going to the wedding, and I wound up having a second charge added to my debit card when I checked my account on Monday. BoA fixed this, but just be aware.

This is a standard Hilton hotel. Rooms are average main lobby and restaurant seem updated. Fitness center needs improvement. Cardiovascular equipment is crammed into one room and all individual tvs on the treadmills and elliptical trainers were broke except two. Weights are in a different room and minimal.

This hotel is tucked away in a very quiet upscale suburb. The selection of amenities make the hotel a perfect choice for a getaway weekend. The business travelers needs are surpassed as well with the free wifi (a little slow) and business center. The room was clean and comfortable. The AC unit was noisy. Aside from that our stay was comfortable. A 25 minute ride to the Bronx NY (weekend traffic). Breakfast buffet was ample.

We went to this hotel with a group for the weekend. The hotel was very prepared and well organized from the moment we arrived. Instead of bottlenecking the front of the hotel they had us park and then register and then they came to our cars to get our luggage.
The staff was incredible. That includes the ones that helped us with our luggage, the front desk and everyone else there. There was always a good morning, what can I do for you, etc.
During the meals with the group if anything was needed, like adjusted air conditioning, they were there immediately working on it.
The woman in charge of taking care of our group was so nice and accomodating.
Some of the rooms, like ours, was a bit of a walk because the hotel is spread out. In the hallways, they could fix up their carpet a bit, bunched up in places. You can tell it is a older hotel but kept us nice.
Our room was fine. Pleanty of room, bathroom not large, but okay.Large tv screen. Nice lighting. Beds and pillows were great.
The lobby was nice, large, seating areas.
Overall a very nice hotel. I would definitely go there again.
