“Lovely”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

The water temperature is refreshing, the sand silky. A nice choice of restaurants selling seafood cooked on BBQs. La Veranda, from what I could see on my walk is the better looking place to stay.

“Nice quiet beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

Water is warm and pretty clean, even outside of the resort areas. Soft sand and you can easily get drinks, food or a massage. Reminds me a little of the old Key West. Nice place to relax, swim and get some sun. There are a few vendors selling fruit and massages, but they don't hassle you.

“Lovely stretch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

There were a variety of places to hang out along this long beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants as well, but most spots didn't feel crowded, it was easy enough to find your own little spot.
You could take a nice little walk or sweaty jog in either direction, have a paddle at night and cool down after a hot curry.

There were a few watersports to be had at some points along the beach, "MASSAGE", and handy snacks from time to time. I didn't feel hassled, the approach was friendly enough by most and not too regular.

The only negatives really were that there was no large spaces of sand to give you that "deserted" feel, and there was almost no wind which menat it was bloomin boiling!

“Very fine beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

Quite fine beach with a lot of restaurants and hotels. If you stay on one you will have your private slice.

“So So hotel beach”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

We stayed in Famiana Village so its just right out of our hotel. It's long but not a lot of sand. Sand is rough too. OK for a hotel beach. I will suggest you to go to Sao Beach if you looking for powder liked sand. (Stay out of Famiana Spa Resort Poolside restaurant at all cost. Food is horrible and expensive!)
