“Good Choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2012

This is a good choice hotel in staying in A.C.. I stayed @ the outback room. Very nice big room with bathroom but with no balcony. Hotel has free shuttle van to walking street. Hotel is on brightly lit Mayon st. that the hotel paved so very safe walking @ night from Peremiter to hotel. Hotel staff are very friendly. Only downside is that there is no elevator if you are staying upstairs and the pool is @ the center of the hotel surrounded by hotel rooms so depending on the time of day you might not get any sun light depending on the time of day. Also, the wifi is very slow and you can take a nape while it is downloading. LOL! Compared to Walkabout hotel the rooms are big & plus you can use the free shuttle van to walking street. I would recommend staying @ this hotel.

I first visited Angeles in 1984 and have been a yearly visitor since 2002. This hotel meets and exceeds the expectations of any other hotel I have stayed in over the years. If you have ever stayed at Central Park Hotel, it is comparable to the way Central Park was run. Very efficient! I just returned to the USA after a 12 night stay. The staff was very pleasant and professional. The young ladies in the restaurant were very personable and the food was good. Had a problem with my toilet the first night I arrived and after several attempts, it was properly resolved by noon the next day. Paid cash in advance and got the 10% discount as advertised. No complaints about the room at all. The only thing I did not like was the fact that they would not empty the fridge of the mini bar items and allow me to purchase my own stuff. Said if they emptied the fridge it would have to remain unplugged during my stay. I do not like the stocked fridge because I do not care for the stuff they have in them and it just makes check out easier because there are no added costs or confusion associated with what I may have or may not have used. I generally stock up on bottled beer, water and fruit during my visits. My only recommendation for the future would be for the hotel to allow the fridge to be emptied at the customers request. There was also an extra charge if you asked for an extra towel during any given day. Heaven forbid if you like to shower more than twice a day to stay fresh. Even with the two minor drawbacks, I look forward to staying here on my vacations in the years to come!

Room Tip: I stayed on the 3rd Floor, but from the design of the hotel, you cannot go wrong with any room choic...

I have lived on and off in AC since 1989 and have stayed at numerous hotels up and down Fields Ave. Boomerang is a new hotel that is a great value for your money.

Pros: large, modern rooms, great flat screen TV with good channel line up, excellent aircon and fan, great bathroom, excellent staff, a block off the main road so you do not hear the noise from trikes and jeeps. Pool is clean and large enough for a dip to cool off, not for laps.

Cons: there was little difference between room types after I moved rooms do to bookings issues and paid a bit more fore an upgraded room, you pay extra for a balcony which overlooks a side street.

Room Tip: Bookin advance for the outback room that is located at the front of the building. There is no elevat...

This is a very decent and well-managed hotel in a quiet, though quite convenient locale, that actually meets its promises and fulfills all expectations. Clean, large modern rooms with good wifi and a very pleasant bar/bistro and all at fair prices. Staff are unfailingly polite, cheerful and keen to please. 100% Recommended.

We have stayed at the Boomerang Hotel twice this year (2012) and have been impressed with both the size of the rooms and the food quality. The added convenience of the free van service to visit the malls etc. is an added bonus. The friendly and professional nature of the staff is first class. We have stayed at other hotels and resorts in Angeles City for many years, but this rates as one of the best.

Room Tip: We found that the first floor rooms suited us the best as foot traffic to and from the bar/ restaura...

I have been going to the Philippines for about 20yrs. I once went there for a 3wk holiday and ended up staying for nearly 4yrs. The Boomerang hotel is the newest one in Angeles only 41 rooms owned by John and Dave a great pair of hosts and will go out of their way to help you. This is my second stay here my first was a bit noisy early in the mornings because they were still building the upper floor where i stayed this time. Beautiful and quiet because it is off the main Rd not like most of the hotels where your'e awake all night because of the trikes. I just love the 24hr a day bar and resto even when you come back late at night you can sit down to a good snack and another drink if you want one and the food is good and cheap to go with it. I had a terrific breakfast there every morning and quite often came back for lunch. The swimming pool which is in the middle of the building is great too you can see it from any floor. They have a little 6 seat van that will run you around the place and come and pick you up latter as well. Unlike maninloc he must have got his wires crossed they have organized a car to pick me up from the Manila airport and run me back there when i'm going always on time and a lot cheaper than most of the hotels. The guy is all ways there on the other side of the Rd when i arrive waiving a placard around with my name on it and when time to go always half hr early the service is second to none and these guys are professional drivers very safe.(I only wished Qantas would fly into Clark.) I didn't mention the rooms they are very spacious with king size beds every room has it's own safe for your convenience and the showers are out of this world you can fit about 4 people in them. I had 3 women and 5 kids in my room and there was still plenty of room even more when i told them all to go swimming. WIFI on every floor to and they have just installed security cams every where to go with the armed guard on the door at night time very very safe place to stay. Last and not least the staff are the friendlies i have come across in a very long time and will bend over backwards to help you in any way. I think John and Dave must have searched high and low to find such a crew they are a credit to the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to any one and i will definitely be staying there a lot more times. This probably explains why they are totally booked out over Xmas.

Room Tip: Depends on your taste, budget and what you want you can get a standard room a corner room or go all...
