“New TUNE Hotel in Clark Pampanga (Angeles City)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

This Tune Hotel is a vast improvement on early Tunes. The room is bigger, television now included and no timers on aircon. The bed was new, comfortable and clean, shower hot and Televison has many channels. The entrance allows you to go straight to the room without passing reception once you have card access after check in. Very discreet. Dont expect a pool, restaurant or fancy. Clean new and efficient yes. Great value for money for sure. Overall a B+.

Room Tip: All good rooms, all the same!

room was clean, bed was comfy&staff were very helpful.it is near Clark Int'l Airport & SM Clark so it's a good choice to stay in especially if you just plan to stay for a short period of time. It's also very cheap so it's price-friendly

This is a fairly new hotel. 8 months I was told. Located along the way off the airport, this is the place to be if you need a place to sleep so you can wake up and catch the next flight tomorrow morning.

As with the other Tune Hotel, you pay what you want. Which is fair for me.

There is a nice little Thai restaurant a few shops down the road. Siam House if I'm not mistaken. 7-11 next to it.

A clean well managed hotel but ideal for an overnight stay only. It’s not such a hotel to enjoy the vacation when in Angeles. Very small room (as usual in all Tune Hotels) and even tough to accommodate 2 medium sized luggages.
You just get in the room & ride on the bed- nothing else.

Location is also not so near to the airport and the taxi fare is same to this place or up to the Fields. No in-house restaurant or room service. The only reason I choose the hotel for it’s attractive room rate when used Clark as a transit.

When I booked the room, I requested to provide me room on the higher floor and away from the elevator and finally got just the opposite. It was not the matter of availability (I booked 15 days prior) rather they don’t bother about customers’ individual needs.

Check in and out was very smooth.

Room Tip: Upper floor.

Me and my partner stay in Tune Hotel for few hours before catching up early morning flights. We took Victory Liner coach in Pasay, Manila (after long journey from Boracay plus delay flights from AirPhil Express) and arrived in Dau Terminal around midnight. Later we took trike from Dau to this hotel.

Upon arrival, we saw 2 security guards manned the entrance door and ask us whether we are guest. They seems want to look our booking confirmation but let us go inside the hotel when he noticed we are too tired. Lobby is on 2nd floor so you need to take a lift.

Check-in was swift, staff are friendly and informative. We ask her how to get to airport in the early morning. She offered to pre-book taxi at Php350 which we agreed. The room very simillar with other Tune Hotels chain. We loved the showers and bed. We had really good 5 hours sleep. I booked this hotel because they have very very comfy bed/pillow and I feel safe in this establishment.

In early morning, we bought some breakfast at 7Eleven few blocks from hotel. Taxi ride to airport is around 15minutes. Overall, we love to stay here for their comfortness and safety. Will stay here again next time!

Staying for only a night (8 hours only) to catch the very early flight on the next day. Rooms are clean, yet you would pay for what you need which is an excellent idea. You can find a cheap way from the airport to the hotel and then share the taxi fare with another party when going to the airport. The room I booked was just HKD80.

first of all, the location is so-so, you need some kind of vehicle for transportation to get anywhere. Best option probably is a motorcycle rental but that already eats up the money you saved compared to a hotel in a decent location. My disappointment started at check-in. Tune regulations say that a room is available von 2pm to 11am the next day. So when I arrived from the airport after a long flight and wanted to check in I was refused because it was only 1:20pm. I was sent to sit and wait with other guests of similar fate. Sure enough, when 2pm came about 25 to 30 people wanted to check in simultanously which led to significant delay, resulting in me reaching my room at 2:30pm. The room of course was as small and looked the same as all other rooms at any other Tune hotel, only this time it was more dirty and the bathroom appliances rusty already after maybe 5 months of operation. This was the first Tune I did not feel comfortable staying in. When you step outside the hotel there is nothing. Except for some nightclubs. No 7-11, no supermarket, no pub, just nothing. If you want to eat or do anything, you have to get away from there by transport. Meaning paying for a trike or risking a jeepney. Or securing private transportation as mentioned above. Angeles City is not an expensive place to stay and there are a lot of accomodations that make much more sense than this Tune hotel. Spend 5 dollars more per night and get a place in a much better location. I will not return.

Room Tip: stay away from the rooms fronting the road, there is non-stop motorcycle traffic.
