“Comfiest beds in Pampanga”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2012

Pros: Definitely the comfiest beds I have ever experienced - will keep coming back to this hotel simply because of the super soft and comfortable beds, reasonable rate (booked through Agoda), rooms are spacious, reservation and check in was easy enough, location was good for us (we needed a hotel close to the airport) 24 hour room service is available and the food is surprisingly tasty; good-sized swimming pool available (though we didn't try it)

Cons: the decor is not very wholesome - the walls are decorated with paintings of scantily-clad (some nude) women and may offend some sensibilities, the pool is right on the lobby, the regular rate is higher than the usual rate in the area, there is no free airport shuttle (the fee is P350 for a 10-15min drive), breakfast is for one person only

For me, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. We stayed in this hotel simply because we had an early flight out of Clark and decided to spend the night in Pampanga. The hotel fulfilled this purpose with some unexpected delights (the comfy bed and the room service food, for example). I was with my husband and so wasn't really offended by the decor nor by the profile of the other guests. I would definitely stay in this hotel again should I need to stay in Pampanga and if I find good rates online. But if I had kids with me, I would think twice.

Room Tip: Choose a room from the back of the hotel - rooms facing the main road could be noisy

Let's start with the positive review:
1. Comfy bed and extra larage comfy pillow!
2. Love the shower option!
3. Drivers & Security Guards are friendly
4. Food is nice and affordable

Negative Review:
1. I think my sister got a phobia using elevators ever since we got stuck in their elevator. As we closed the elevator we heard a loud noise and as we look up the floor numbers were going level 4, level 3 then down to level 1 back up to level 3. felt like i was in a horror movie! called for help - they came straight away. as they open the elevator we were half way through the floor. so they give us a chair to climb up the elevator and exit through a small door opening! I really felt like I was in one of the FINAL DESTINATION movie where the elevator suddenly works and chop my body in half while hanging!

Worst part, we went to the lobby to calm ourselves down, hoping that the receptionist and waitress will offer us water or ask if we're ok - BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! no one even bother to ask what happened. I was so shock how all the staff pretended like there was no incident - like HELLO WE JUST GOT STUCK IN THE ELEVATOR!

2. RECEPTIONIST! oh they seriously need to learn how to smile and be polite! we may not be foreigners but we do pay the same rate. more reason to treat your own kababyan with respect. they seriously need to hire new staff!

This incident happened last 2010. We stayed in this hotel for at least 2 weeks. We are coming back again this August. We are planning to check out the hotel again for one night to see if things have changed. I will be booking a hotel in December for a wedding so I need to find the best hotel for my family and friends.. More reviews to come...

Stayed here for one night following the Hot air Balloon festival. Check in was a breeze. The room is quite spacious, and the king size bed was really comfy. The hotel is modern, with a clean lobby and near the busy areas of Clark. The bathroom is really nice as well, with a bathtub and a separate shower area. There was a pool near the lobby but it looks more like a "for show" one, maybe just for the part of making the bar area really nice and relaxing. One thing that turned me off was the lingering smell of smoke in our room. Having arrived at 6pm, we were expecting that the room will be free from any smell. We wanted a non smoking room but they told us that it was not available as they were really full. But the major turn off was when my 9 year old son opened the TV, it instantly showed a triple XXX movie. Apparently it was part of their offering in all the rooms, 3 channels with adult movie showing. My hubby was asked if we wanted it removed (prior to checking in) and specifically told the front desk that we have 2 kids with us and we would not be requiring it (of course). Still when we checked in, they were not able to remove it and we have to call the Maintenance people to manually remove the saved channels in our room television. Breakfast is good for one person only (don't know why is this so) but we decided not to take it as my kids and I decided to go out and have breakfast outside of the hotel. On their part, since it was the Hot Air Balloon festival week and a lot of families have been visiting Clark (as all hotels do participate in this event as well), they should have been more family friendly in their set up and activities (even just for that particular week). But if you are a couple who wanted to visit the Clark area or going solo who wanted a good time, this may be a good option for you.

Not the best in Angeles but certainly above the average hotel in AC. The rooms are modern and clean. The bar area on the ground floor is a nice place for a beer and a snack. The swimming pool seems more for show than actual use but its still a very pleasant lobby/ground floor area. The location is also good, its not too close or too far from Fields avenue so it's quiet enough but within easy reach if Fields Avenue is of interest to you. All in all a good hotel that is admittedly priced above the average hotel but if your budget allows its worth the extra 1,000 peso's for the quality

I have stayed at this hotel around 10 times since 2008 and found it to be a good hotel until recently. Well 2 out of my last 3 visits. I end up moving to the Lewis Grand or Wild Orchid. The things liked about the hotel were comfortable beds, reasonably priced food, free transportation service, and the friendly staff. The beds are still great and the food is still good and reasonably priced for a hotel. But the rest of the hotel services went from very good to poor. The front deck staff is inattentive to guest request and sometimes will reply in a sarcastic and rude manner. The Hotel Wi-Fi internet service went from OK, to poor, to non-existing unless you are in the lobby or a room near the elevator. They charge 100% tax for food delivered to the hotel? The transportation to and from Clark airport, was a free service until recently it has become free from the airport and a charge of 375 peso to be dropped off at the airport.. I don’t understand that also? Maybe it is just another way to get money out of the guest before they leave.... I have stayed at this hotel many times in all my visits to the Angeles city. But with the recent hotel policy changes and declining interest in customer service needs. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Street facing rooms are noisy in the morning with tricycles and jeepneys. Request room close to...

Have used this hotel every 6 months for the past 3 yrs and found it a good hotel until recently. The things good I have to write about the hotel are as follows : Good comfortable beds the best in all the hotels I have slept on throughout my world travels, good food reasonably priced, good staff friendly and helpful although a bit inattentive sometimes due to lack of supervision. The rooms are of an acceptable standard of cleanliness and cleaning staff very friendly and do the job well. The downsides: as of recent the hotel management decided to place a charge on what used to be a free transportation service to the town area on a regular basis. This in my opinnion is totally unacceptable for such a hotel situated at least a 20minute walk away from the edge of the entertainment district and through an area that has become synonymous with news of stabbings robberies etc as of recent. They have also now altered the transportation to and from Clark airport, again this was a free service until recently it has become free from the airport and a charge of 375 peso to the airport from the hotel on termination of your stay. These management people really know how to please the guests NOT! Last but by no means least is the breakfast which is included in your room price you get a daily voucher issued for breakfast which used to be again until recently valid anytime of the day now it has to be used between 6am and 10am ! I arrived on the early morning flight from Bangkok which gets in at 4am and was at the hotel at approximately 4.50am after checkin etc I was informed of the breakfast change and then I started to look at the array of notices placed on the front counter detailing changes etc wow to be bombarded with this after several hrs flying ! I asked the lady on the front desk can there be an exception to the breakfast ruling on my first day due to my late flight arrival explaining I wanted a good sleep. I was dissappointed in her reply of no,anyway I later had this sorted with a managerial staff and got my breakfast later that day. As stated I have used this hotel in all my visits to the city in the past 3 years liked it even though it was more expensive than others and out of the way From now on I will be staying elsewhere, this was my last stay.

Room Tip: AAsk for a delux with a pool view that means you are away from the main road which can be noisy with...

First off the beds and room was very nice but the hotel was to far away from the strip for me.

Everything else about the hotel was good and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway or for a nice trip with your girlfriend.

I would stay here again when I am with my girlfriend
