“Nice location with great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

We spent one night for our diving trip in Tulamben. Room is ok but the quilt we used didn't look clean. Doesn't have hair dryer, neither dental package. Breakfast and dinner are good. The staffs were really nice. During the night, we saw the sky was pretty clear enough to see the milky way, so we ask the staff if they can turn off the lights near the swimming pool, they did it and even helped us to find the perfect spot.

The hotel was in a good position between Tulamben and Amed. The view from the hotel to Mount Agung in the background was beautiful as was the view of sunrise in the morning. Breakfast was not the greatest but adequate. The only issue we had with the hotel is that it seemed to be quite deserted so didn't really have much atmosphere, a possible result of this was that one of the members of staff seemed to be slightly needy wth regards to our plans and was continually asking us about what we would be doing which was quite uncomfortable. This did not detract from our stay however and all in all it was a lovely stay.

Room Tip: Get a room on the highest floor to ensure you have the best possible views of the surroundings.

Bluehill Resort Tulamben is highly recommended for anyone looking for accommodation close to the popular dive spots in Tulamben. The staff including the manager and owner were extremely friendly and helpful (always with a smile). They will go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable experience. Rooms are comfortable and clean; Location wise, not quite walkable to main strip with restaurants due to windy roads but is a very close drive.

Have stayed for a 4d3n diving and accomodation package during Christmas Holiday. It worth every money. Room is spacious and clean, with an great view of Volcano Agung. There's 5 minutes driving away from the more luxury sister resort called ocean-view which is quite near to Liberty Wreck. Food is good but you'd better order earlier or you will be starving....:)

Room Tip: Room at the corner has the best view.

Like being at home! Really nice, friendly, good food, clean and more =)
We stayed a week to go diving in the north of Bali. The host was like a friend we knew for a long time. It was a great experience and much better than the south of Bali full of Tourists..

Agreed. The view, especially from the third floor rooms, is outstanding. The pools and grounds are well maintained and refreshing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Despite being part of a group of 23, the small restaurant staff were able to keep up fairly well. I recommend the black pudding for breakfast - surprising good! No Wi-Fi, but it was nice to not be distracted by it. No phones in the rooms, which, again, isn't a big deal unless you are the tour leader of a large group and have to climb stairs repeatedly to locate people. Located a bit out of town, as mentioned in other reviews, but there's not much in town anyways. This is a dive town and I'd think other tourist would be hard pressed to find much to do.

This hotel is amazing ! the rooms are really beautiful and clean, comfortable bed, really neat bathroom. The balcony gives you a wonderfull view on spectacular montain Agung, and on a great looking garden/pool which will make you feel like you're in heaven ! The food at the restaurant is delicious, Chef Made is awesome, you can eat traditional Balinese or Indonesian food, as well as american/europeen/italian food.. The pool is also really great and always clean thanks to Gede !

Gede Kedul the manager can fix you up with anything you need, he is always helping me plan my activities like going on hike to mountain agung or go diving, he is taking care of everything you just have to show up, really makes life easier for guest, don't be shy to ask he loves to help people. Tulamben is one the diver's paradise with the liberty wreck, and this hotel has the same owner as the Ocean View diving center, so this is really easy to book your diving session, it's like 2 resort in 1.

You will get amazing sun rise in the morning, either from you balcony or I recommand going on the beach, you just need to cross the road, it's less then 3min walk.

The staff is so friendly and helpfull, they will treat you as King in their kingdom ! Rupa in the reception is always welcoming you with her nice smile and she will anwser all your request. Special thanks to Ketut, Nengha, Komang, Gede, Wayan, Ketut, Nyoman and Ketut ! thanks for everything, had so much fun with all of you !

I've been there two years in a row, and I will definitly come back because this place is perfect, so I strongly recommand this, you will not get disappointed, sometimes pictures are better then the real place, but not in bluehill the picture can't render how great this place is..

More then just an hotel you will get a unique magical human experience ! can't ask for more if you want to live the balinese spirit !
