one of the musy try in bali. the pastas were great n the drinks too. place was really nice especially at night time. but make sure you make a reservation in advance. when i came without making arrangements, the restaurant was full although it's almost 9 already. however we were told to wait at the lounge and get a table within 15mins.

La Lucciola is absolutely wonderful. We ate there the last night of our stay as a celebration, and it was excellent. After living in Italy for 4 years, I can safely say that that is REAL Italian cuisine. The gnocchi was excellent, as well as the pappardelle and linguine. The meat was all also very good. The best thing I ate was the vine ripened tomatoes with goat cheese appetizer-- everything was very fresh and the goat cheese was very creamy. The granitas are refreshing and obviously fresh.
The desserts are also very good, but not the highlight of the meal. The atmosphere is the best thing about La Lucciola. It is very romantic, but we went with the family (4 older children) and it was great. You are eating literally feet away from the water, you can see and hear the waves crashing against the shore. It is a very private beach though, so dinner isn't interrupted by the screams of children playing in the beach either. It is very open, but you are underneath a roof in case of rain. The service was wonderful and food came out quickly. I would definitely recommend La Lucciola, and would certainly make a point to go back if I'm ever in Bali again.

My family love this place, but I have eaten there twice and on both occassion left feeling the view was better than the food. The service is always friendly and efficent but the food while good has never wow'ed me. Always something not quite 100% - last time the calamari was slightly undercooked. Perhaps I'm too picky, but for a place with such rave reviews (and expensive for Bali) I have never left feeling I need to go back - there are so many other great options around in Seminyak.

I have been eating here for 10 years and the food and service has always been consistent I cant recall having bad service or even a bad meal here, There is always a good variety on the menu and always served by well trained and friendly staff A must if you come to Bali...
