The staff at this hotel are some of the best that I have ever encountered in Asia. They all knew my name and no request was too much. It very much reminded me of Four Seasons style of service.
ROOMS: The rooms are large and very spacious. We were on the fourth floor overlooking the ocean. Lounging spaces, whirlpool, nice minibar. The only odd feature was that the glass partition between the main living space and the large bathroom was clear affording no privacy. Everything else was great. Its the best view and location on Seminyak.

FOOD: Great food, diverse menus. Best Thai food that I have had outside of Thailand and I have spent a lot of time in Thailand. The Thai Chef was allways out and about the restaurant talking with guests and making sure that we were enjoying himself. I did not expect to eat Thai food in Bali but this is a MUST EXPERIENCE RESTAURANT. Room service was quick, only 7 minutes to get margaritas sent up. Breakfast is a delight, big choice on the menu and its all very good quality. Try the Nasi Goreang, its perfect.

STAFF:
All the staff were so generous and warm, genuinely concerned for our happiness. Erna, was so helpful and always looking for us to see how we were doing. I wish I could remember everyones last names but Nyoman, Wyan, Made and Ketut were fantastic.

We were a gay couple traveling and we were treated wonderfully, this does not happen at all luxury hotels. A credit to the staff and management.

A final thank you to Ivan the General Manager. He has created a truly special and unique hotel experience in Seminyak. Congratulations Ivan!

You could say that organising your honeymoon is the single most important holiday you’ll ever book. We chose Bali for its beauty, culture and climate. We chose the Anantara for its ambiance, breathtaking views, modern design and facilities.

We were totally blown away by this resort and from the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right choice. The staff decorated our room with love hearts made of petals and they even made us a wedding cake. We had a beach facing suite fully equipped with Bose entertainment system, iPod dock and free broadband internet (which was great to keep in touch with all our friends and family).

This resort has everything we wanted and more. They really have put a lot of thought into to the design and layout of this property. We liked to relax in the gardens on comfortable sun loungers and watch the world walk/ surf by. And then cool off in the pool and enjoy a cocktail or two :-)

Bali sunsets are spectacular. We enjoyed many an evening dinning by the pool listening to ambient, eclectic music and watching the sunset. It’s very romantic.

The highlight of our stay was our Dinner by Design in the penthouse. Imagine watching the sunset, eating a delicious banquet under the stars in private, with your favourite music playing and a talented waiter catering to your every need. This was a truly amazing experience. Remarkable!

Kudos to all the Anantara staff for ensuring we had a wonderful honeymoon. You really made us feel very special and we hope to see you again soon.

We stayed at The Anantara for the 2nd week of our Honeymoon in Bali and fell in love with the place straight away
The staff, suites, food (especially breakfast), gym and spa was all first class and we were treated like royalty
The Anantara is more suited to younger couples as it is very modern and they sometimes have a DJ playing, which was a real treat.
Seminyak is a little hectic, there is a lot of traffic and it's not the prettiest place but the shops and restaurants are fab and cheap and the people are so nice, just watch the mad dogs walking about everywhere!!

We both felt really looked after in this hotel compared to where we stayed the week before and the little extra touches they made for the Honeymoon just made us love this place even more!

We will be back.......

The Anantara is a beautiful resort that exceeded all expectations. To Ivan, Hendri and the entire team - congratulations and thank you. You created and delivered a holiday experience that we will always remember and compare others to, regardless of where we are in the world. I could not possible fault a thing. We will return.
