The staff at this hotel are some of the best that I have ever encountered in Asia. They all knew my name and no request was too much. It very much reminded me of Four Seasons style of service.
ROOMS: The rooms are large and very spacious. We were on the fourth floor overlooking the ocean. Lounging spaces, whirlpool, nice minibar. The only odd feature was that the glass partition between the main living space and the large bathroom was clear affording no privacy. Everything else was great. Its the best view and location on Seminyak.
FOOD: Great food, diverse menus. Best Thai food that I have had outside of Thailand and I have spent a lot of time in Thailand. The Thai Chef was allways out and about the restaurant talking with guests and making sure that we were enjoying himself. I did not expect to eat Thai food in Bali but this is a MUST EXPERIENCE RESTAURANT. Room service was quick, only 7 minutes to get margaritas sent up. Breakfast is a delight, big choice on the menu and its all very good quality. Try the Nasi Goreang, its perfect.
STAFF:
All the staff were so generous and warm, genuinely concerned for our happiness. Erna, was so helpful and always looking for us to see how we were doing. I wish I could remember everyones last names but Nyoman, Wyan, Made and Ketut were fantastic.
We were a gay couple traveling and we were treated wonderfully, this does not happen at all luxury hotels. A credit to the staff and management.
A final thank you to Ivan the General Manager. He has created a truly special and unique hotel experience in Seminyak. Congratulations Ivan!
