“Fantastic”

Our daughter picked the Kunja villa resort for her wedding, everything was excellent. The villa they stayed in was right next to the chapel which is gorgeous set in lovely gardens. Linder the wedding organizer is very friendly and helpfull and it was a pleasure to meet her.The staff also did everything possible to make the occasion perfect and even supplied transport to the reception for all attending the wedding.

I spent an amazing 10 days at kunja with 8 young friends in the 3 Bedroom Villa. The service was outstanding; the kunja staff were constantly willing to go over and above to make our trip a delight. Accommodation was luxurious but still affordable, and we loved the private pool. Location was also great, Seminyak is a great alternative to the bustle of Kuta with a surprising amount of quality restaurants and boutiques. Would reccomend Kunja to anyone!

Room Tip: Splitting a villa amongst friends made Kunja Affordable and fun! Our villa at the back was very priv...

My husband and I, and our 8 year old son, stayed at The Kunja in March.

The villa, staff, and services, are all so lovely. We were in Bali in a particularly hot week (according to the locals), but the beautiful pool was a welcome relief, as was the very well airconditioned bedroom area.

The bedroom area had enough room still for sitting and watching a movie, too - so even during the day we could escape the heat for a break.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we enjoyed a fabulous (and very affordable) in villa bbq for our son's 8th birthday - which the staff went out of their way to get candles for him.

We enjoyed the breakfast and afternoon tea, and even though the Kunja doesn't have it's own restaurant, we did get takeaway (which Kunja picked up, delivered, and served in our villa).

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It will be great when the road to the villas is done (currently very bumpy dirt, but only about 200m) - apparently due for work in May.

Room Tip: I think all the villas would be great....

We are at the end of a 3 night stay in Kunja Villas, and will be very sad to go. The villa is spectacular, the pool gorgeous, everything is so spacious. The other reviewers comment on the entrance to the villas, which is an unsealed, pot-holed road, but once inside the villa complex it's an oasis. The staff make you feel like royalty. Other reviewers have commented on the constant stream of staff, but we found the opposite. We specified a time for housekeeping each day, and a team of housekeepers, gardeners, and pool maintenance ppl were in and out in a flash. The breakfasts were nice, but we think that the choices anywhere would get a little tiring. Next time we'll bring our own cereal and have the cooked option only every second morning.
A huge plus is the complimentary one-way shuttle service as far as Kuta. They will take you to dinner, shopping, wherever you want. Even though taxis are cheap, it's not possible to flag one from the villa (ours was about 400 m down a private road) so we found that great. They even collected us from Sanur where we had stayed immediately prior, very unexpected.
Would we return and/or recommend Kunja to our friends? You bet!

Having stayed in other seminyak villas before,we had high expectations as the Kunja was abit more expensive then previos villas but we were on honeymoon!
Happy to say our stay was faultless fantastic service, rose petals & honeymoon cake on arrival, private chef, complimentary transfers & gift bag on leaving!
One thing maybe suggest is more variety at breakfast, it was either full Indonesian, American or pancakes. I'm gluten intolerant so I found it hard with no yogurt or a healthy, light choice on the menu, after 7 days even my Husband was abit bored with breakie. I did go to seminyak square & buy afew yogurts to go with the fruit.
All in all great stay, if your looking for a more private villa this might not be for you as we found the constant stream of chefs, cleaners, afternoon tea chef, turn down service was alittle to much for us...
Even though it was great to have every need & request met with a friendly staff member!

My husband and I are currently staying in a 1 bedroom villa at the Kunja Villas. They are quite possibly the most stunning villas we have seen. Huge space with all the amenities, awesome stereo, swimming pool, kitchen, huge king coil bed with mosquito nets. I love this place. Service is fabulous, free drop off service to anywhere in Bali, breakfast cooked in your room every morning, afternoon tea every afternoon at your chosen time.
Only 1 tiny criticism is that there is not much choice for breakfast but only because there is no restaurant, but gorgeous all the same. They do have an extensive food menu but comes from outside the villa. Beautiful honeymoon thanks to Kunja.
We will definitely be back.

My mother, sister, brother in law and myself stayed at the Kunja for 5 days in February. I can honestly say it was the most beautiful place, with even more beautiful staff. We were treated very well and got to live like royalty for 5 days, living in luxury. The location is great to, there are lots of things to do in Seminyak, but the drivers kindly take you in to Kuta which isn't too far away. I hope to come again soon.
