My husband and I are currently staying in a 1 bedroom villa at the Kunja Villas. They are quite possibly the most stunning villas we have seen. Huge space with all the amenities, awesome stereo, swimming pool, kitchen, huge king coil bed with mosquito nets. I love this place. Service is fabulous, free drop off service to anywhere in Bali, breakfast cooked in your room every morning, afternoon tea every afternoon at your chosen time.
Only 1 tiny criticism is that there is not much choice for breakfast but only because there is no restaurant, but gorgeous all the same. They do have an extensive food menu but comes from outside the villa. Beautiful honeymoon thanks to Kunja.
We will definitely be back.

My mother, sister, brother in law and myself stayed at the Kunja for 5 days in February. I can honestly say it was the most beautiful place, with even more beautiful staff. We were treated very well and got to live like royalty for 5 days, living in luxury. The location is great to, there are lots of things to do in Seminyak, but the drivers kindly take you in to Kuta which isn't too far away. I hope to come again soon.

I stayed in the 3 bedroom villa with my fiance, mother, and sister at the end of Feb 2013.

It is AMAZING. The whole villa was just to die for, so fancy, and they come in every morning to make your bed and every evening to turn down your sheets and put up the mosquito nets (which made me feel even more like a princess!)

Having your own private pool is great and the staff will bend over backwards for you. They have a free shuttle service that runs from 10am - 11pm i think and they will drop you off wherever you want to go for free - a definate thing to make use of!

The staff are all lovely, although we did find it a bit funny that the main man who picked us up from the airport was all lovely and accomodating and made out as if he was going to be looking after us the whole stay, so we tipped him, then never saw him again. Its the ones that come into your room to cook your breakfast for you every morning and the personal gardners and housekeeping that come in every day that deserve the tip!

All in all a beautifuk place to stay, some taxi drivers had trouble finding it though, and the road track down to the villa is very bumpy and you cant really walk to the shopping/markets in Seminyak yourself. But i'd love to spend my honeymoon there!

Room Tip: Im not sure if there even was a fitness centre or children activities - i didnt see any advertising...

We were picked up by the complementary driver service at the airport and had were dropped off right to the door of our private Villa. Quite a shock seeing the very dodgy road which was more like a dirt track and full of pot holes, but the Villa couldn't have been more different. It had the WOW factor as we walked through the door.
The love heart flowers on the huge bed and the bathtub full of rose petals was a great touch, as was the complimentary honeymoon cake given to us on arrival.

The room was very clean and looked amazing. The staff extremely friendly. the breakfast chef turned up 20 minutes before the required time and cooked in our kitchen for our private breakfast - make sure you're prepared for their arrival :-)
The only thing I could pick on and it's a personal option, is that once breakfast is cooked and served the waiter/ess stayed around in the kitchen and you felt like you were in a restaurant rather than in your room. I felt that it would have been ok to have been left to enjoy breakfast on our own and in our own time. Not much but it was the only thing I could think of that I would want differently.

We loved the LG stereo which we could just put the iphone on the pod. The sound was excellent and swimming in the pool, or relaxing with a drink to the sounds was great

We found the whole experience very relaxing and enjoyable, especially after a day of heading out and joining the rat race in Seminyak. It became far more enjoyable to stay and lounge by the pool and enjoy the Villa.

Only wish the stay was longer

Loved our time at the Kunja Hotel, it had great service, nice staff and lovely clean and new rooms. They offer a free pickup from Denpasar airport to the hotel and our flight was two hours late in landing and the driver waited the whole two hours for us at the airport, I was blown away by the service! I liked how the hotel is located in a quieter area of Seminyak that's not so busy, but not too far away from the action either. We had a one bedroom villa, which had a huge private pool that got sun for most of the day and had a large outdoor lounge and kitchen in a Balinese style building. We have stayed in other poolside villas in more expensive hotels in Bali and this one was the best. A friendly member of staff cooked us breakfasts every morning at our elected time and the driver dropped us into Seminyak whenever we needed a lift for free, but you find your own way back in a taxi etc. I have read previous comments on Trip Advisor about guests complaining about having to pay for the return taxi journey from Seminyak, I think this is very unfair as each trip is only 5-10 minutes drive and between 50 cents and $5 (AUD) depending on what you negotiate or if they use the taxi meter (the cheapest way) and we usually only did the return taxi trip once a day, so it wasn't an issue! I also didn't find the road to the hotel nearly half as bad at night as what some people said and although a little rough, it was quite easy to navigate and not a problem even in the dark in wedges and there was some light from buildings along the road too. Some restaurants are within walking distance and really not far away, we often walked home easily. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but the reception will order you in food from a large variety of restaurants in Seminyak if you don't want to go out. I had read about the breakfasts not being great as well, but I thought they were nice, especially the Balinese breakfasts. Overall we thought this hotel was absolutely amazing value for the price and we have travelled extensively worldwide, I hope we get to go back!

Room Tip: One bedroom villas are new, clean, private and quiet.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and baby. The villa was large and the service was very good. They will provide everything u need. The breakfast was my negative feedback. They don't offer many varities of breakfast. I think because they don't have restaurant.

We have just returned from our honeymoon in beautiful bali & have had the most amazing holiday ever. choosing the kunja villas & spa was the best decision we made and have now found "our place" to stay at each time we visit bali. staying in seminyak was perfect and away from all of the hussle & bustle of Kuta, Legian, etc. why stay in hotel accommodation, when you can have your own peace of heaven in one of the villas. these are stunning, safe, clean, fully airconditioned, daily cleaning (if you want it), 24hr room service (if required), full kitchen, well set out infact one of the largest villa complexes in bali, the staff are very friendly & helpful, having our breakfast cooked for us everyday was superb, as was the private bbq (honeymoon) dinner they gave us, the location was private yet not too far away from convenient places like a 24hr mini mart, plenty of restaurants, boutique shops, scooter hire, tailor, beach, etc it has everything you want!! oh and don't forget the kunja villas has it's own stylish day spa (highly recommend the hot stone massage for two)..perfect accommodation for couples or families. thank you kunja, we will be back!!
Restaurant Tip: definately make the trip to la lucciola restaurant - absolutely superb dining right next to the beach and the food & drinks are amazing!! Also, you are located close to plenty of factory outlets and homeware shops, etc
