The Kunja Villa and Spa is amazing :) the location is close to essentials, the lovely staff are happy to drive to you local places, your private pool is always warm, tv, wifi and dvd all worked seemlessly. we went to bali for a wedding and therefore had the oportunity to visit many other villas where other friends were staying - let me tell you, the Kunja is the best - the pictures on the website do not give the place enough credit :)

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at the Kunja villa in January and it was amazing.
The staff are so lovely, always greeting you smiling and are extremely helpful.

The rooms were beautiful, better than the photos! We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa so the kids could have their own space (teenagers). The bedrooms are air-conditioned, the semi-outdoor bathrooms were amazing.

Every evening the staff come to your room and put your mosquito net down and spray with bug spray. You can have afternoon tea, cookies, strawberry and banana pancakes, coffee.

Breakfast is cooked in your kitchen, quite a good variety to choose from: continental, eggs any way, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, coffee, Balinese breakfast, pancakes, also fresh watermelon, orange, pineapple, or melon juice! Can also get cappuccinos delivered to you.

We had the traditional Balinese BBQ in our villa, the staff set up decorations and candles all around the pool, amazing food: prawns, chicken skewers, pork ribs, fish, fried rice, salad etc there were two musicians who came and played music, a great option if you want to stay in for the night.

The spa was excellent, very relaxing, we had massages, warm stone massages, pedicures, etc. Well priced. The staff were very prompt and flexible with bookings.

Because the Kunja is not very central in Seminyak, you can call the reception to take you wherever you like a golf buggy. If you are wanting to go to Kuta etc they take you in a car, this service is very helpful and free. Drop offs only, cabs cost about $2 - $5 AUD to get back.

One small problem is there isn't a bar for cocktails by the pool. And we had a stray cat in our bathroom one night, made quite a racket! We got a bit sick of breakfast, choosing what you will want to eat the following day can be tricky, and the variety is obviously not a good as a big buffet in a big resort.

Overall Kunja was the best family holiday experience we have had, we would definitely stay again.

The Kunja was an amazing and unforgettable accommodation choice. My partner fans I were amazed by it all from the minute we set foot into it. The gorgeous pool, open bathroom, comfortable open living area and the beautiful airconditioned bedroom! The in villa breakfast was always relish and our chef, Purnama, was a delight! The airport transfers and drop off service was fantastic and minimized the need of organising a taxi. The staff were superb and their advice and assistance was much appreciated!!!! We already miss it and cannot wait to return. This is a must stay place for people holidaying in Bali. It is definitely great value for money!!! I would like to thank Reza (manager) and his team, Made, Chita, Dea, Alet, Kadek and Katut. They were all outstanding!!! The security were great, too!!!! Much love from Australia-- Asmah and Younes!!!

Just spent 6 relaxing nights with my wife for our 10 year Anniversary in a 1 bedroom pool villa and loved it. The villa had everything you need such as wi-fi, tv and dvd player, fridge etc. The bed was comfy and the bathroom perfect. Oh and the pool was great, good temp and clean.

The staff were very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Although at times communicating with staff can be difficult it is what you get when travelling to other countries.

Great coffees 100 mtrs up the road at ipolitos. Staff can pick up coffees and drop off with breaky.

Staff transport you (no cost) as far a Kuta whenever you want. If their vehicles are not available they pay a taxi for you one way. We paid no more than 30000 (3 dollars) to return by taxi.

We also had a massage which was great and almost fell asleep.

Meals - went to the Sarong and also Potato Head which were great; on the beach with a great vibe. You can get room service where you can get a good feed for two for around 20 ozzie dollars.

Breakfast cooked by staff in the morning was great, we felt like royalty.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend to families and couples.

What a fabulous place. From the moment we entered the gates to our 1 bedroom pool villa we were blown away. It was exactly what we had hoped for and it was exactly as the picture on the tripadvisor website showed. The staff were fantastic - nothing was too much for them - so helpful. We used the spa facilities and the staff are very well trained. We even emailed with queries prior to arriving and they were responded to quickly and with all queries answered. We definitely would return to The Kiunja Hotel as it was great value for money.

We had the most amazing time at the Kunja Villa over the Christmas break. Having booked the holiday a little late, finding a restaurant for Christmas day was a little tricky. The Kunja arranged for a wonderful BBQ complete with the decoration of the Villa and musicians.....

The Villa is exactly as you see it on the internet and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, attentive, courteous or polite. There was enough selection for the breakfast's to keep the family happy along with the supply of afternoon tea's.

The location of the Villa's may not suit all but a transportation service was provided at every request without question to ferry the family to Seminyak square and even into Kuta.

I would love to return to The Kunja very soon and highly recommend the Villa's to all.
