“good family resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2014

We stayed in interconnecting superior rooms with our 2 kids (aged 6 and 9) and it was good. Everything was clean and everyone was helpful. Kids loved the pool. It's central enough to get to shops and to get taxis to the good restaurants (Potato Head, Ku De Ta etc - about $5 a trip). We stayed in room 327 and 328 which was a nice distance from the pool and bar, so was quiet in the evenings. Ordering food at the hotel was good too - not overly expensive. They helped me celebrate my birthday when I arrived by bringing me a birthday cake and singing happy birthday to me! There's a few Aussie bogans around but i think that's the risk in all of the hotels in Kuta, Seminyak and Legian....

Room Tip: rooms 327 and 328 were far enough away to be nice and quiet. Laundry costs are quiet high so you wo...

I’m in two minds about this hotel. Its very good about being what it is, ie a medium to large size hotel. The hotel caters for a broad demographic and all staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. They are obviously well trained and clearly go out of their way to please guests. The staff were as accommodating as I’ve seen in a hotel of this size. The hotel is situated very close to the beach and a number of good restaurants.

The property has a number of very commendable policies: eg sun lounges can’t be reserved for more than an hour (excellent! A pet hate of mine is those selfish and inconsiderate people who “reserve” space for themselves poolside and then disappear for hours on end); you can bring in your own drinks, but only if you consume them in your own room, which is fine by me; and, the Departure Lounge, which is a great innovation for departing guests with late flights.

We utilised the Departure Lounge when we checked out at midday but weren’t flying out of Bali until 11pm. That the hotel enables gusts to use facilities after check out and then freshen up and change for a flight in the Departure lounge was one of the reasons we chose this property.
Although the rooms are a little on the small size they are adequate, well maintained and clean, as was the hotel site generally.

Our room balcony was only large enough for two people and there is little privacy between our balcony and our neighbours’ as the screens between balconies are rather flimsy. Might I suggest at this point that one policy the Breezes might consider adopting is that the no smoking area of the room be extended to include the balconies? There was nothing more disappointing for us than to have our relaxation on the balconies marred by our neighbours’ cigarette smoke.

As reported by others the hotel encourages a party atmosphere. Although we are older than those who go to Bali primarily to party we enjoy seeing people having fun. The partying was not too raucous and was always closed off by 10pm. Nevertheless if you don’t like some noise you probably should stay elsewhere.

So having stated that the hotel is well located, well maintained and well managed, why and I in two minds? I think that it boils down to us enjoying smaller hotels which are a little more intimate and which maintain some connection with the Balinese culture. Unfortunately this connection cannot be sustained by the larger hotels. Having said that, I would under the right circumstances return to the Breezes.

We had a large group stay here prior to our wedding and it was a fantastic resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a Deluxe Room facing onto the main pool which was fantastic, though if you wanting something a bit more quiet then ask for a room facing onto the beach pool. Also if you have issues with stairs make sure to request a room close to the lift.
The food was great, and the included breakfast included a fantastic array of choices.
The pool bar had great cocktails and whole coconuts are only $2AUD.
The beach was about a 300m walk down the street, and then the other direction leads to some decent shopping. Seminyak square is a very short taxi ride away as are most of the popular bars, Potato Head, Ku De Ta, and Mexicola.
Loved Breezes and would happily stay there again especially if travelling with others.

Room Tip: Deluxe Room near the main pool for direct access to the pool bar, room facing the beach pool for som...

I went to Bali for a wedding. The wedding was held at the Breezes and all the guests stayed there. The wedding was extremely well organised by the staff of the hotel (Miss Mary was a very happy bride:)). The hotel is in such a convienent location for autobanks, shopping, massages and eating. The staff were amazing and the rooms so comfortable and inviting. The buffett breakfast had something for everyone.
I would recommend this resort to anyone.
Thank you for looking after us so well.
I will be back in October as we enjoyed it so much. thank you

We stayed at The Breezes Bali Resort & Spa last week for 4 nights and had the best time there & would recommend it to everyone - young, old, couple, family. The room and resort was spotless. The pools amazing. The staff super friendly and helpful with speedy service. The cocktails were yummy & well priced. We had room service once and couldn't fault the food (the buffet breakfast was also delicious). We would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Love the idea of the ground floor pool rooms as you get your own private pool chairs.

This was our second visit to Breezes in 6 months and the hotel once again was brilliant , from the moment we arrived till we left we felt like the hotel was our home and the staff were amazing,
Ata from guest relations is constantly on hand if we needed help with anything , the bar staff were friendly and organised lots of fun games .
We would recommend the hotel to any age group as it caters for the young ones and the young at heart,
We can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: We had room 324 and it was great
