We have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Breezes. Total cost which included breakfast was $749 for a superior room. Our room was located on the third floor, which at times was a bit of a hike but they are installing an elevator in that particular section of the hotel, which will be completed by March 2013. Check-in was very quick and we were greeted with a welcome drink and refreshing towel. The staff at this hotel are so friendly and always smiling, they also appear to all get on very well, which makes for a happy environment. Our room was excellent and exceptionally clean and comfortable, the air conditioner worked well and we had a balcony overlooking the pool. There are two pools, a beach pool with real sand surrounding it to give it a beach atmosphere, the pool is not deep and suitable for people with young kids. The other pool is deep with 3 levels, it includes a pool bar. The hotel have different activities at various times of the day, some for kids only and others for all age groups. At 6pm every night there is bingo at the pool bar and it is GREAT fun and not to be missed. The bar staff conducting the games get everyone involved and make it so much fun. There is table tennis available, along with an eight ball table, where the staff also organise games. An actual tennis court and a gym. My husband and I felt totally relaxed and extremely comfortable the whole time we were there. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty to choose from and always excellent. We ordered food from the pool area and also room service, everything was very nice. The staff/hotel put a huge effort into making everything comfortable and accommodating. At first we thought the actual location was not the best, however the beach is a short stroll down the end of the road, where at night there are a lot of the bars. Heading south, they have bean bags and tables set up on the beach so that you can watch the sunset whilst listening to either live entertainment or recorded music. It takes no time to get into the middle of Seminyak from the hotel by way of a back street, hence no traffic. Going in the other direction to Legian or Kuta does not take long by taxi either at a cost of AU$2 or $3.00. It is always best to get a metered taxi and make sure you have small notes as they like to hike up the fare by saying they have no change. However regardless of that we would always give more than the metered price considering it might cost AUD $3 and thats with a tip! In summary I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Seminyak.
