This place is superb. Leaving aside the items on the a la carte menu, the appetisers and the amuse bouche were amazingly creative and delicious - especially the egglet with the calamari. Where to start with our meals. For entree, we had the tiger prawn macchiato and the fois gras. Both amazing - especially the tiger prawn macchiato which was served in a coffee cup. Mains were the duck breast and lamb - perfectly cooked and presented. Desserts were the chocolate cake (divine) and the banana soufflé (just a tad underdone - but still great). Wine list extensive and not unreasonable prices. Killer martinis! Great atmosphere although the tables were just a little too close together ( but that's being very picky). Great attentive service but, as the menu is not exactly descriptive of what a dish is or consists of, you tend to rely on your waiter to fill in the blanks. And here it would be great if there were better English skills. Would we go back? In a heartbeat. Not cheap but when you consider the value proposition, it is great value for money. Do not let an opportunity to try this gem of a restaurant pass you by.
